“I'm kinda drained right now, maybe tomorrow." he nods and leaves. I grab a book and sit on my bed as I begin to read.The book bored me with its historical nonsense. I sigh and continue reading hoping I will become tired over time. I put my book away and lay my head down thinking about the incident that just occurred

“Eclipse are you still up?” I sit up unable to get any sleep. Lyzbeth was standing in my doorway, head facing the ground. 

“I'm up dear, what seems to be the problem?” she takes a small step into the bedroom

“Um, dad is working and I had a nightmare” I smile and slide to the side of the bed patting the empty spot next to me. She smiles and runs to the bed and lays next to me. I lay down and pull her close to my chest.

“I wish you and Dad were together so you could be my papa” I smiled and played with her hair. I wanted the same thing but I knew that it would never happen. I can still be her papa though.

“Even if me and your dad are not together i can still be your papa sweetie” she smiles against my chest and i pet her head.

“Sleep dear” I closed my eyes and heard her mumble till she was asleep. The next day I woke up to see that lyz was still asleep. I slowly and quietly get out of bed and get ready for the day's work. 

I began my day by grabbing my journal and writing my daily entry though there wasn't anything good to write about. After I finished my entry I put it away and stretched to get ready for my daily jog. While I was out the kids all smiled at me “Hello mr. eclipse” a voice said from the group. When I looked to see who it was it was none other than Vennie. 

“Hello there” I respond with a wave before he shifts into an eagle and flies off. I was very glad that Ventus was watching out today.
