I believe that the night before is part of the day after. And so, let's break down a day into 3 main tasks,
1st main task of the day= 10:01 pm to 4:58 am (round up to approx. 7 hrs.)-adequate sleep I find myself productive the next day as I've observed myself
2nd main task= 4:59 am to 11:59 am (7 hrs.)-including morning routine and hardest & urgent top priority for the day
3rd main task= 12 noon to 10 pm (10 hrs.)-involving a not-so-hard but still urgent priority and evening routine
Notes:
1) My morning routine includes the Morning Offering Prayer while making my bed,
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, the reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.
shower, cooking, Daily Lectio Divina & ACTS (Adoration, Contrition, Thankfulness, Supplication) Prayer Model (kindly see https://hallow.com/blog/how-to-pray-acts/),
specifics for the day part 1.
Moving on to my afternoon to evening routine, it tackles my specifics for the day part 2, listening to the Ascension's The Catechism in a Year podcast w/ Fr. Mike Schmitz (not sponsored), prep for sleeping and then the Guardian Angel prayer.
Angel of God, my guardian dear,to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side,to light and guard, to rule and guide.Amen.
2) 3 meals consumed within 2nd & 3rd main tasks schedules and breaks (around 15 mins. to 1 hr.; depends) taken after finishing subtasks as needed in order to finish the main tasks per day.
3) No primer/before activities & rewards/after activities; the reward is the privilege to finish the hard assigned activity with the best I can.
4) To apply no.3 cannot be done overnight but a mindset shift along with gratitude can gradually help change the way we perceive "unlovable" tasks into lovable ones. Let us do what we love and love what we do in times where we don't really love the tasks at hand but we do these sacrifices for our loved ones.
5) Everyone is unique and everyone is in different situations regardless of the similarities one can share with another. Each one of us handles pain & pleasure in this lifetime uniquely. All of us are also struggling and surviving life in different degrees and standings, one must be sensitive enough to understand that we are all different and we should respect one another.
6) And so, this is an example of how I've learned from my past to thrive in the present and to prepare for the future. You can do an entirely different way of pursuing progress in your life. This example I've shown can be a guide to yours if you find some or most of it helpful in the way you live.
7) At the end of the day, we are not loved by God with the amount of "accomplishments" we had. We are loved by Him not as we do but as we are. He loves us simply because He loves us. Sometimes, we might feel unloved by Him as we equate love to answered prayers. If left unanswered, we feel not worth it to be loved and cared for when in fact, God is in the waiting as well! Even in rejections, they could be His protection from what could have become of us if we weren't "rejected".
Success differs from person to person. But the love of God remains the same for us yesterday, today, & tomorrow.
Now, here's our mission, you and I, yes, all of us here in this series are the characters of our unique stories and we will hold each other accountable for changing for the better. In the comment sections tomorrow for the next episodes updated day by day (God willing), we'll keep track of our daily check-ins, then there will also be a weekly checkpoint every Sunday (workout too after attending the Holy Mass on Sundays) (GMT+8).
