It's good that you teach actual history after each episode of the fanfic! Now time to diss on colonial Spain!
-one ancient testimony of the native people described them "weird people that jumped like monkeys everytime they saw gold"
-South America has platinum, but they thought it was worthless silver, to the point that they even dumped a lot of this invaluable material into the ocean as a joke
-El Dorado was used as a wild goose chase to distract them
-Columbus thought he was around China/Japan, "India" was how they called Asia in general, which is why the word Khan turned into Carib and then Cannibal...
-Book Piracy was a thing, with people reading books forbiden in Spain (also sometimes the Inquisition didn't burn the books and kept them to know why they were forbiden, saving them in the process)
-a catholic temple had hidden a sacred book from one of the groups and so everyone who prayed there was praying to their og book and not the Bible
-Forgot one: Tenochtitlan (now Mexico DC) was basically the biggest and most advance city in the world at the time. So when the spaniard arrived they got surprised! Considering that a "uncivilized society" was a society that was "lacking" of something important.
Also, I don't think draque is Spanish for dragon (lit. Dragón), but maybe it's old spanish? Idk...
Other fact: recently it was found an old ship with stolen gold, and Spain wants it even if it was stolen from the indigenous people from America...
