The old man harrumphed. “I’ll have you know carriages like these are all the fashion these days.” He turned around to face the rascal that kept arguing with him. He had his mouth open to say more but all words were lost and long forgotten when he saw the chiseled face in front of him instead of some young youth.
Dante had a nice mound of silver hair on his head that fluttered softly in the breeze. His clear blue eyes cut through the old man towards the person stepping out of the carriage. He nodded as if he were answering a question. “No matter the… fashion, this carriage is too heavy for just one horse. Where are you going?” he asked the Lord who had finally come out to deal with the situation.
“None of your business!” The Coachman said snapping out of it.
Cassius was tall, about the same height as Dante. He had a smile on his face when he approached the two men. “I’m afraid I’m in a bit of a conundrum. I would like to be at the palace before nightfall but at this rate, we’ll be stuck here all night,” he tilted his head towards the coachman letting the blonde cuticles of his hair flutter as he said this. The Coachman in return, genially bowed his head.
