“This way please.” The butler gestured towards a set of stairs. Dante followed the butler through all the confusing corners and turns before arriving in front of a door.

“This will be your room, Sir. May I dress your wound?” the butler asked with a hand hovered over the Dante’s boot.

Between the pain and all the turns Dante couldn’t remember how he finally arrived at what he presumed to be his room. When the butler opened the door the first thing Dante saw was the single large bed, smack dab in the middle of the room. There was also a desk and closet just as great but all Dante wanted to do now was rest his aching foot. But through his hazy mind he still remembered that he needed to send a message to his mother. Dante hissed. “No, that won’t be necessary. Just get me a pen and paper.”

The servant did so by taking the materials out of the desk drawer and handing the materials to Dante. “A servant will come to your room with dinner. They will also be your personal servant for the remainder of your stay. Please tell them if you need anything.”
