Chapter 14 – Clear was the sky

On the next day after the battle, around morning at 7.00am professor Draven took Kai to a location of an aftermath of a different battle.

On the way to the location,

“Kai, what was the time limit, again?”

“10 minutes.”

“Um… the battle was about 2 minutes ago I guess we can still make it on time…”

“But, seriously what is with you students. Yesterday you wreaked havoc, today your seniors… Atleast use a veil… a veil.” Said professor in a tired voice.

“Well, whatever… since you are helping me, you will get off with just written apology for yesterday.

“Professor, what will happen to Clara?” Asked Kai in a worried tone.

“Yeah, I don’t know… there is an audience with principal today… and anything will be decided from that point.” Said Draven in a worried tone.

“…”

“I don’t think Clar—“

“Yeah, I know… I know she is a good girl.” Said Professor with a distant look and smile on his face.

“Draven prof?”

“Yes?”

“I heard that our principal is the most powerful being?”

“Yeah… he is the most powerful.” Answered Draven with a serious tone.

“But he acts like any other gramps towards me.”

“That is because you have your way with people… hehe.”

“Wait!… you might even have another power, power of charisma~.” Draven said mockingly.

“Woahhh… professor the time professor, the time… we are late, it is one minute after the end of 10 minutes.” Kai said, uplifting his voice rushing professor.

Professor opened a portal in a mere second and teleported both Kai and himself to the location in a blink of eye. The place was wrecked beyond recognition, it was much more extreme than Kai and Aiden’s battle. More than 10 casualties were cause of this battle.

“It don’t affect you does it, the portal?” Asked professor looking at the calm Kai.

“Hmm… the void or the space created during my time stop would even crush professor’s brain. I guess only Aiden could handle it since he possess my body.” Kai said as he climbed onto a huge rock from the wreck.

Kai reached his left hand on to the empty space pointing it towards the wreck. He then dragged his hand backward as fast as he could. Time had stopped, a void has been created. The demolished buildings began to repair itself as if the actions done were being undone. All dead people woke up from being dead and walked again as if going back in time. The huge rock he stood on pulled back itself into a building and he fell on to the ground. Kai had used time reversal. Since they were late a minute, a single huge hole remained on ground after using his power. Time began to flow as usual from the exact point of instant but from the minute he used the power.

“Shit…only if we were a minute early…” Said Kai punching the air.

“It’s alright. Can’t help it. No one died after all.”

“But ahh… that power is amazing… everything is over in a second… no, much faster like a frame change in a movie.”

“Hehe… for you that is…” said Kai, in a muffled voice.

“Hmm… what is it?...”

“No, it’s nothing…”

“…”

“Ugup… I’m going to meet principal now.”

“I’m coming with you.”  Said Kai with a serious look on his eyes.

“Ughhh…. Dream on Kiddo.”

Professor Draven teleported back to the campus leaving Kai there. The moment professor Draven arrived at the campus, Kai was already there calm and collected.

“Wait… how?! Even if you stopped the time… wouldn’t you be tired running a mile back here?” Asked professor with a curious face.

“I used the thing I do to heal my wounds to heal my fatigue…haha.”

“Ughh… then in battle you don’t even lose stamina?… scary… p-r-i-n-c-i-pal save me from this kid…uwah.” Said Draven in a funky voice.

“Anyway let’s go to the confinement unit they are holding Clara.”

“Yeah.”

They reached the confinement unit. The confinement unit was nothing more than a room on basement of the campus. As soon as Kai opened the door, even the usually unfazed Kai was taken aback by the sight he saw. Clara was just seated at a normal chair with no binding or whatsoever. But, she was totally surround by melee weapons of dark matter levitating close to her head at point blank range. Even a suspicious movement from her could pierce her whole body without recognition.

“P-Professor, How?” asked Kai mesmerized

“How, what?”

“No one can send the dark matter away from users’ body… Then how i—“

“Yes, that’s why we, the Guds Vilje couldn’t use projectile weapon… but this was the doing of principal.” Said professor not looking away from Clara.

“Old man’s amazing…” said Kai amazed at the principal’s powers.

“Yeah, yeah, he can even beat you at your best Kai… even if you used your sound powers.”

“Pff, not on my best….Then, what is his power?”

“No one really knows… I heard that he can manipulate weather, elements…. Hell, I have even seen him create a portal similar to mine once.”

“What are you doing here, my kids? ~” A slow gentle voice whispered in a soothing tone behind them.

“Gramps!”

“Mr. Principal.”
