Was I in love 

When I fell asleep In your arms

While attempting to match your sleeping steady breaths

Did I fall in love 

When you kissed my forehead

When you called me beautiful even though I had lost control of myself

Did I realize I was in love 

When we laughed at our own stupidity like best friends

Or when the little things were important to you too

I can’t pinpoint when I fell for you

But I loved you since

The moment you compared me to home

Or when you wrapped me in your arms in the cold of the night

As we waited for the moon to show

And the cool morning we waited for the sun to rise

Because like me, you too loved the colors

Or was it from even before then

Was I born to love you 

Or did I learn to love my soulmate in this lifetime as well
