The cloaked man pushed aside his cloak, revealing his body. He wore a shirt with the top button open, trousers, and boots. Around his waist was a baldric for carrying weapons on his lower back, in which both his hands were covered with gauntlets up to the elbows. These gauntlets had sturdy blunt carvings, and the finger parts had sturdy sharp carvings that were also on the tip of each finger as claws. Throughout the gauntlets were carvings that formed patterns. On the backs of the hands of his gauntlets were solid gold carvings, and along the top of the gauntlets was a golden carving that resembled a double-edged dagger. Along the left side of the left gauntlet up to the elbow was a sharp blade covered in armor, solidly carved into its surface. Along the right side of the right gauntlet up to the elbow was a sharp blade covered in armor, solidly carved into its surface. Both gauntlet blades were similar to a katana in general and wide enough to cut when his arms were moved to slash. The right-hand gauntlet was faint blue, while the left was yellowish red. The cloaked man positioned his arms forward, about to attack.

The cloaked man ran very fast toward the source that was attacked by the fighter jets.

United States, 20xx AD

The time was 10:00 am. The man in the black armored hooded cloak, who wore a metal mask that resembled a face part of a mecha with glowing red patterns on the eye parts, and his gauntlets, stood stunned, looking up at the gigantic object hovering in the sky before him. What the man in the cloak saw in the sky surprised him, even though until a few moments ago, what was happening around him hadn’t caught his attention.

A massive object resembling a rectangular black tower building soaring high into the sky with a height and a size taller and larger than a skyscraper, with the upper and lower ends forming a tall pyramid-like shape with isosceles triangles. As a whole, this black object also resembled a stake. At the bottom and on the side parts of this tower were jet engines with red glowing line patterns all over this black tower, which function as anti-gravity devices. The engines roar from this hovering battlecarrier starship broke the atmosphere; people were trying to escape it.

Shortly after, several groups of fighter jets fired at the hovering black tower with rotary cannons and missiles. These fighter jets flew to the right or left of this tower. The missiles and rotary cannon shots from the fighter jets hit this hovering tower, but it didn’t work and didn’t even make it budge in the slightest, as if it were made of very hard material. In various directions in the distance, similar starships hovered directly above the Pentagon building and several areas within a vast parameter, with the Pentagon as the center. The cloaked man looked curious.

“What the hell is Black Star going to do?”

He took out a smartphone from his trouser pocket, but no communication signal was available.

“No communication network is available, so I cannot know what happened. Does this also have something to do with Black Star?”

He watched the hovering black tower closest to him. He noticed three other black towers from the other direction of the Pentagon building as if surrounding it. There were five battlecarrier starships, one in a stationary state above the Pentagon building, while the other four were moving and hovering around the Pentagon. Dozens of fighter jets flew around these battlecarrier starships and occasionally attacked them with missiles and rotary cannons, but none of these fighter jets’ attacks affected them. He looked around in astonishment.

“There are no signs of these towers to attack, but why are these fighter jets trying to attack them?”

He rechecked his smartphone; the communications network and the internet were still down, and there were no signs of recovery soon.

“There is no other way; I’m gonna ask him directly.”

He looked around and looked confused.

"But, where is he? Is he still at the Pentagon?"

He stood still and concentrated.

"Even though my level isn't high yet, I still have "another way" if I have to fight him."

He stood in a ready-to-attack stance and positioned his two gauntlets, which covered his hands and arms, forward.

He ran with a strong starting stomp, causing a shock wave and a wind blast. He then ran very fast toward the Pentagon building.

United States, Pentagon Building.

The Pentagon building was the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense. It had five sides, five floors with rows of windows, and a main entrance on one side of the building. The cloaked man continued running toward the Pentagon building area on the road leading into the Pentagon building. Armored vehicles had been lined up with the military personnel on standby. Shortly after, the cloaked man ran very fast, past the blockade of armored vehicles on standby, then jumped over the Pentagon fence, surprising the soldiers. One of the soldiers’ expressions turned astonished.

“What the hell is that?”

The cloaked man reaches the area near the Pentagon building. Nearby were dozens of military personnel aiming their assault rifles at the cloaked man.

“Put your hands where I can see them!”

The military personnel became boisterous, but the man in the black armored hooded cloak covering his entire body paid no heed to them; his attention was fixed on the black star’s black tower-shaped battlecarrier starship above him. The cloaked man realized something and turned to the military personnel, aiming their assault rifles at him.

“All of you should get out of here for your safety.”

The cloaked man ignored the soldiers and ran toward the Pentagon building at normal speed, indicating that his skill’s active time had run out. One of the soldiers was surprised and spoke in a raised voice.

“Dammit, shoot him!”

All the soldiers in the direction behind the cloaked man shot at him with their assault rifles, but these shots couldn’t penetrate his cloak; the bullets bounced off and caused sparks, surprising all the military personnel. One of the soldiers’ expressions turned astonished.

“What the hell…”

The cloaked man continued running and got very close to the Pentagon building.

The cloaked man jumped beyond the height of the Pentagon building and landed on the rooftop. He then walked forward, using the high jump skill, jumped over every rooftop of the Pentagon building before him, and arrived at the rooftop near the center of the Pentagon.

In the center of the building was a garden with green grass and trees arranged neatly, with five concrete paths leading to a beautifully carved fountain. Shortly after, Black Star walked out of one of the rows of automatic sliding glass double doors.
