These wings are enormous—I can't fathom how I'm managing to maintain my balance. Their weight should logically cause me to topple backward, yet strangely, they feel incredibly light to me.
"But honestly, I wish they were smaller right now. They're so inconvenient that they even destroyed my house."
Just as that thought crossed my mind, my wings began to shrink considerably, yet they remained quite noticeable.
"How did you do that?" My mom was the first to inquire.
"I simply wished for them to be smaller, and they became smaller," I replied to my mom, but it was Luna who chimed in next.
"Interesting. It seems like you've acquired the wings of that angel, along with some of its powers."
There was a hint of madness in Luna's eyes as she spoke to me. It frightened me, as I had only witnessed it a few times before, but when she wore that look, nothing could stand in her way.
Ignoring the eerie atmosphere or perhaps choosing not to acknowledge it, my dad posed another question.
"Can you do it again, Akio?"
"Sure," I responded, though deep down, I was uncertain if I could replicate the feat. I attempted to do so, but after numerous tries, nothing happened.
"Sorry, Dad, I can't do it..." Tears welled up in my eyes, and I began to cry.
"Don't cry, Akio. Please, don't... Vail, please help," my dad implored.
"Your father is right. You don't need to cry over this. It's not your fault," my mom tried to console me. Yet, if I couldn't accomplish something as simple as this, then what could I possibly do?

'Poor kid,' I thought to myself as I watched Akio. The situation felt rather awkward. Just as I was about to avert my gaze, Akio's wings began to expand, growing bigger and bigger.
"What's happening?" I wondered aloud.
They were becoming too enormous now—each wing eclipsing the size of Rohan's house, let alone all of them combined. Everyone retreated from Akio, and before we knew it, everyone except for Ilva was transported away from the house, deep into the heart of the forest.
"What do we do now, Rohan?"
"I don't know. How do we put a stop to this?"
We seemed utterly lost, even Luna, who possessed greater knowledge than anyone present, had no inkling of what to do or where to begin.
"It shouldn't be much longer, I think. We just have to wait until he grows tired," Luna reasoned, having observed Akio for a while.
In an instant, a powerful gust of wind swept through. Rohan erected an air barrier to shield us, but one of the colossal wings collided with it, while the other three went on a rampage, wreaking havoc throughout the area.
"Damn it! Are we going to let him destroy this part of the forest?" Luna exclaimed, addressing everyone.
"Of course not. And you four are going to assist me in minimizing the damage inflicted upon the forest," a mysterious voice responded from the rear.
Turning my head, I beheld a massive bear named Spirit, who had apparently rushed over to investigate the commotion.
"Alright, let's do this then, this actually might see like a challenge." I answered him.
A boy wanders into the woods near his home. He becomes separated from his friend and starts roaming around the woods until he discovers a clearing. In that clearing, a dying beast is lying on the floor. Curious, the boy approaches, and the beast offers its heart to him. The boy takes the heart, and thus begins his journey with the beast's powers.
