If you all haven't heard of Kristin Beck, you should! She is an amazing war hero and activist. She was formerly Christopher Beck, a Navy Seal who received countless awards and citations from the Navy including a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. After retiring, Kristin began to transition and eventually co-authored a book called "Warrior Princess" which chronicles her life. Kristin is an inspiration to me so I decided to dedicate a picture to her. I tried to get in to look like a childrens book to contrast the seriousness of the subject.
Kristin Beck is an absolute hero to me and I hope more people learn about her.
