The boys run to Celine's house.

She leads them to the backyard where a strange glowing portal is now located.

"What is that!?" Exclaims Lu.

"That my friend," Celine starts. "Is the Rift."

Celine goes back inside for a moment leaving the boys standing there in awe, speechless.

"I want to poke it." Lu slowly starts stepping towards the magical swirl.

"No!" Jax holds him back.

Celine returns holding a large back staff adorned with purple runes and a red and blue orb held within a lantern swings from the top. She is also holding a small box.

"Now," she stands in front of the rift and stamps the staff on the ground getting everyone's attention. "You three are now tasked with a job. A story in my family said that I or someone from my family was supposed to help train the new Chaos Keepers. I have studied the magical arts but I'm unsure if that will help you."

The boys look at each other.

"I do however have my hands on the trinkets passed down from your patents. After an... Incident... Your parents left these charms in the hands of my family." Celine opens the box revealing three small charms. One in the shape of a scythe, one in the shape of a clawed glove, the last in the shape of the sword.

She places the box on the ground and hands the charms over. Evan received the scythe, Jax the claws, and Lu the sword.

"Keep them on your person at all times." Celine also hands them little chains for the charms.

As soon as Lu attaches his charm to the chain and wears it as a necklace, a light starts to run down from the charm to his hand. With a quick flash, a sword appears in his hand.

"WHOA!! YES!" Lu grins a sharp toothed grin. He swings the sword horizontally.

"GAH!!" everyone jumps back as not to get hit.

"BRO be careful with that!!" Growls Jax.

Lu only quietly laughs before noticing Celine also quietly laughing. This causes him to blush a tiny bit but due to his skin tone already being a red tint no one could really tell.

The sword disappears with another light flash.

"Aww." Sighs Lu

"How the hell are we supposed to control these?" Panicked Evan.

He looks down and the charm. Jax sighs before another flash of light. Now wearing gloves with long sharp blades protruding from the knuckles.

"Ha Ha! You're a cat boy! You have claws, fangs, and pointy ears!" Lu mocks.

Evan quietly laughs this in turn makes Jax smile. Even though his friends stupidity it's worth it if it makes Evan happy. Flash, claws gone. The demon and vampire look to Evan.

"What?" He asks.

Jax hits back with a question. "Don't you want to see yours?"

Evan looks at him, then Lu, then Celine, back to Jax, then to the charm. Suddenly a flash of light. A scythe with bright purple blade and neon green handle now is in Evans hands.

"How do I even use this!?"

Celine goes over to him and pats his shoulder. "You'll get the hang of it."
