They looked at each other and nodded. We all stood in front of the evil woman- who calls me her daughter. 

“ ꑩꋬꈚ!” Ariel waved her hands in the air, creating a ring of fire around Joanne. 

Aster and I locked eyes and grinned. Ariel could be powerful. Aster was next. He closed his eyes, concentrating-- and suddenly was hovering in the air. He began speaking in a low voice, chanting a spell.

“ ꒝ꏿꂵꑀ ꈴꍏꁅꄽꏳ, ꃅꏅ꒹ꊹ ꈴꏅ ꀽꄇꋖ ꃩꊮ ꋖꎝꃩꌚ ꋖꃩꈴꒊ ꇵꄐ ꇚꈼꌅꄽ꒹ ꍏꋰꌷꄇꋖ! ꐴꇘꃩꏤꋤ ꈴꍏꍌꄽꏳ ꂍꄱꊮꋖ” 

His hands glowed a bright blue- changing from red to yellow to green to white. And back to blue. His eyes snapped open and a roar sounded from behind us.
