As Diana left to shower, I wore the clothes she lent me and stepped out of the room into the living room. Then I noticed something which I didn't see at first. There was a piano in the corner of the room and an electronic guitar next to it...

I approached the piano and touched it gently, remembering I've always wanted to buy and learn piano. However, my parents never let me do it. I sat down on the piano stool and placed my fingers on the keys aimlessly, curious to hear the sound. 

"Am I dumb to not know a single note?" I mumbled as I pressed a key a few times...

While I was immersed in it for some minutes, I felt a hand pressed on my shoulder. When I turned my head, I saw Diana's face leaning close to mine. "That's not how you should play it," she said as she placed her other hand on my hand over the piano, leading my fingers to play a note. 

She was so close to me, leaning over my back, and made my heart skip a beat...

Then I suddenly noticed what she's trying to teach me. "Oh!... This is~..." I muttered.

Diana glanced at me and replied, "Yep, twinkle twinkle little star"... 

Our gazes were locked on each other for a few seconds, which made me flinch, and I slid back a bit and said nervously, "You'll get tired standing, sit~..."

I huffed as I couldn't breathe for a moment, and Diana asked while sitting next to me, "You okay?... Your face is a bit red..." 

"Yes... Yeah!... It's just that I'm excited~..." I blurted out and added, "I forgot what time it is!... Don't neighbours get mad at us?!..." 

Diana laughed, "haha~ The walls are soundproof, so relax!" 

I smiled, bewildered. "Then, can you play me a song?!" 

-"What song would you like to hear?"

+"HM~... Do you know 'Love story' ? It's an old one..." 

She laid her fingers on the piano's keys and played a bit. "Do you mean this?!"

"Yeah!!!..." I answered excitedly...

Then she continued to play the whole song, and I just remained frozen there, listening to the song meanwhile observing her fingers moving across the keys, and her calm face with wet straight short hair in her beige silky pyjamas... 

I felt mesmerized and in awe, watching and listening to her playing the piano, with her skilled and gentle movements. A peaceful and calming sensation came into me as if everything was in harmony. 

I was captivated by the beauty of the song and her posture... Unable to describe it with words...

After the song was finished, she looked at me and smiled. I clapped hesitantly and lightly, "Woaah~... I really liked it~... Thanks, Diane~..." then smiled back.

We stared at each other silently, and awkwardness returned into the mood. Diana sat up and asked, "Don't you want to dry your hair?... You'll catch a cold..."

+"Yours is also wet!" 

-"I'm used to it, and my hair is short." she twirled a strand of my hair and continued, "Your hair is long so it's different, " and I gulped anxiously.

Then Diana grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bedroom. I stared down at her grasp on my hand, feeling confused and embarrassed. She made me sit on the bed, and then took out the dryer out of her drawer, turned it on, and pointed at my hair while rubbing my head with her palm. She dried my hair for me as I obediently stayed there silently for her to finish. 

It felt comforting that someone else was drying my hair for me since being taken care of is indeed a pleasant experience and made me fluttered.

After she was done, I said, "Thank you~"

"You're welcome. It'd be 100 bucks." She stated mischievously, which made me laugh, "Too expensive!"  

She continued teasingly, "A piano performance, plus lending you clothes to not wander around naked and drying your hair in the end. Don't you think it was VIP service?..." 

I pouted, putting on a pitiful act, "I'm broke~. what would you wanna do?~..."

She sat next to me, her eyes roaming my face, and said seriously, "Well~... There's too many other ways to pay..." 

I could feel my cheeks getting hot and red as I heard that!... 

I laughed nervously, "hehe~" 

Diana patted my head, "haha~... Let's sleep, Lily. I should wake up early in the morning." 

"Sure! Where should I ~... Sleep?!~..." I wondered.

"Next to me, Duh!..." she said, unfazed and tucked under the blanket.

I just stared at her for a moment, my mind still trying to process what had just she said.

..."We're sleeping together!!!... Literally next to each other!!!!...."... I screamed internally.

I slowly got under the covers, my heart racing while staring at the blank ceiling. 

Diana turned off the lights with control on the side table, "Goodnight, Lily."

+"Sweet dreams, Diane~"...

As Diana fell asleep, I rolled to the side, facing her. Everything seemed like a dream that I didn't want to wake up from. 

Me going out on a dinner date, then visiting her place and now lying down next to her...

It was absolutely mind-blowing and overwhelming...

I stared at her for a while before dozing of to sleep...

Faith POV: [06:55]

Diana hung up the phone on me last night suddenly, and didn't let me finish my sentence that I'd be at her place at 7, because I needed some documents and instructions from her before leaving for school. 

I walked through the hallway, ringing Diana's door, but there was no response. I entered the password in her digital locker and stepped inside.

It was obvious that she was still sleeping, so I opened her room's door, and the scene that I witnessed right in front of me was so shocking and made my mouth wide open...

... "Oh My God"...

Diana and a stranger girl sleeping in each other's arms!!!...

It took me more than a year for Diana to let me sleep with her on the bed and the only reason was I caught cold once at the living room's couch and after that she let me out of sympathy!!!...

She hates it when people cling to her during her sleep, especially when that person is a stranger!!!...

That girl flinched slightly as if she noticed I had entered the room. She opened her eyes, and as soon as her gaze met me, she got jolted, springing up immediately... 

"Ahh! ... Wh~O... " she muttered, baffled.

I took a few steps further and said in a low voice, "Hi, sorry that I scared you!... I'm Diana's friend, Faith~..." She got out of the bed immediately as Diana was still in deep sleep. She answered anxiously, "Hey~... I'm Lily~"

"Nice to meet you, Lily." As I said this, Diana groaned and tossed around, "What~ the fuck!~... Are you doing here?!~... Stalker!"

+"You bastards!... You shouldn't have just hung up on me last night then!... " 

-"What time is it?!~ shit~..." 

+"It's 7, get up, dumbass" 

-"Fuck~ you~" she rolled herself into the blanket... 

Lily was standing there confused, and kinda shocked by our fucked up language...

I walked straight and flung open the curtains to torture Diana and wake her up... 

Diana groaned in protest, still half-asleep when he sat up, looking around the room...

"Why the hell are you torturing me early in the morning?... My class starts at 10!!!" She grumbled. 

"I had to come because of our new project. I need your instructions for starting it until you'd come back home... Do you think I'm enjoying being here at this hour, waking up a psycho like you?!~..."I stated.

Diana threw the pillow at me, "Gosh!... I got it!... "

She stepped towards Lily and patted her head with a smile, "Morning, Lily... Sorry if that weirdo scared you~..." then left for the bathroom as she yawned.

I let out a deep sigh of frustration, and walked to the kitchen as staying there alone with Lily was awkward. I didn't want to bother her...

..."What's going on between them anyway?"...

Lily's POV: [07:15]

As Faith left the room, I finally was able to relax... My whole body has been stiffened by the tension of the room. I thought they'd gotten into a fight or something, cursing at each other...

Earlier, as I opened my eyes, I was truly panicked when I saw someone standing in the doorframe, but I guess she felt just like me judging by her bewildered expression...

..."So she has other friends than Ashley"...

While I was in my own thoughts, dazed by what's going on here or what I'm even doing here, Diana got out of the bathroom. "Why are you standing there as if someone scolded you?" She asked.

"I waited to use the bathroom!" I muttered. 

She scanned me with her eyes, "Is that so?... Okay, go in then..." and left the room. 

I rushed to the bathroom embarrassed...

Diana's POV: [07:20]

"Aaaahhhhhh~ I'm feeling so annoyed and pissed~... " I groaned as I walked to the kitchen, approaching Faith while she was making an omelette for us to eat.

Faith responded, "Screw you, Dee~..." 

I slapped her butt, "I should've said that!" 

Then I walked to make some coffee for us, and Faith kicked me with her leg. "Ow!"...

I glared back at her, and she stuck out her tongue at me... 

I sighed, "Faith, you know I'm able to kill anyone early in the morning, right?" 

"I ain't afraid of you, Psycho," she said. 

As I was about to hit Faith one more time, I noticed Lily standing with her eyes wide-opened... 

"Shit... Why do I keep scaring her!..." I thought. I put an awkward smile on my face and turned back to making coffee silently. 

"What's gotten into y~" Faith wondered as she turned her head. She finally got her answer and then said, "Haha~... Lily, come here and sit!... I'm making breakfast~..."

"AH, YES!..." She answered in a cute quick way and ran to sit behind the table. 

"Ppfttt~~ hahahaha~..." I couldn't hold back my laugh as Lily was extremely anxious... 

"Why are you laughing so suddenly?!... it's creepy!" Faith grumbled. 

Then I handed Lily a mug filled with black coffee, smiling a bit and saying, "Nothing....". 

Lily took a glance at the mug and said shyly, "Em~... Diane, can you pour milk and sugar for me?!"

"Oh!... You have a sweet tooth, huh?..." I grabbed the milk from the refrigerator and picked up the sugar jar, then placed them on the table, "Here you go~"... 

"Thanks," Lily finally smiled. 

Faith whined, "Wow... You hypocrite!... You always treated me like shit and now you're acting nicely in front of her!"...

"She's a cute child!... it's different from you!" I smirked. 

Faith frowned at me and then asked Lily as she put the omelette dish on the table with spoons, "How old are you?"

"21" she replied while she picked her spoon to eat. 

"Ooo~... So you just entered adulthood."Then turned her gaze on me, "Okay, you won!" 

I grinned.

After having breakfast, Faith and I walked to the office room, having our little morning meeting while Lily was doing the dishes since she insisted on it herself. 

When our talk was done, I stepped out of the room, "Let's get ready, Lily. It's time to leave." And she nodded silently.

Lily came into the room after me, started taking off her clothes right away, which made me flustered, and my eyes were fixed on her fair skinned body, slender legs, and small waist‌, observing unconsciously...

A sudden voice from my conscience came into my mind‌, telling me, "Stop staring at her like a freak!... Keep it cool!... What's wrong with you, Dee?!"...

And I answered back, "I'm trying! Okay!... I guess I've been single for such a long time that I'm pent up! So don't blame me..."

My conscience nagged again, "Nope, you're a pervert!..." 

I mumbled frustratingly, "Can you just shut up?"

And Lily turned back confused, hearing my voice, "Me?!" 

I laughed nervously, "Ah~... No... I was thinking about something!..."

Then I sighed and started to change my clothes anxiously, and thought to myself, "See! Now she definitely thinks I'm crazy!"

We said goodbye to Faith and left the house. Then I dropped Lily off in front of her house first and drove off to school...
