Just as Evan was about to answer his master on the weapon he wanted, and question him on his weird attitude, the bell of the shop chimed. All three of them looked back at the door, where the red haired warrior playing receptionist at Cyprès’ inn stood. She entered the shop with long strides, going toward Erwin with a vicious grin. The fairy squeaked, but before he could escape, Abigail was already on top of him. Her arm circled Erwin’s neck and her free hand pinched his bugly cheeks.
“Hello my cute little fairy husband, everything’s going fine today? Selling a lot of goods?” She said with a high pitched voice, rubbing her muscled body on the man’s chubby one.
“S-sweetheart, please stop! We are in front of customers!” Erwin said, madly blushing and glancing at a shocked Adam and an amused Evan with embarrassment. Abigail made a sound of annoyance, turning back to face the two men, without letting the struggling fairy go.
“Oh, if it isn’t the two lovebirds from yesterday, slept well? Are you here to bother my cutie?” She said, taking a menacing step toward them. Her whole playful demeanor seemed to change with the thought of someone harming Erwin and Evan found it strange how he could picture himself feeling the same thing if Adam was ever harmed.
“Stop it, Bibi! Adam is a good friend of mine! He came here to buy clothes and weapons, not to make trouble.” Erwin said with anger, puffing away, both cheeks bulged and red. Abigail squealed in delight at the chipmunks man and hugged him tight, nearly strangling the man a head shorter than her.
Abigail coughed after Erwin elbowed her into the ribs, finally letting the man go.
“So, are you here to buy a spear, little warrior?” Abigail asked Adam, looking at him with her arms crossed in front of her chest. She was wearing a crop top matching her short fiery hair, seemingly having been ripped from a normal shirt. The sleeves were ripped, making it a sleeveless shirt, showing off her bulging biceps with tattoos. Her abs were also made apparent as she wore baggy brown pants, hanging precariously on her hips, only a sort of belt kind of holding it up. The belt also held a short knife. Military boots summed up the look. Various scars could be seen on her white skins, but the giant one across her stomach was the most frightening one.
“Erm, no. I’m trained to use a sword, not a spear.” Adam answered awkwardly, wondering why the retired adventurer thought he used a spear. Abigail’s wolf-like teeth glinted dangerously as she gritted her pointy teeth, looking pissed for an unknown reason.
“What!? Who thought it would be a good idea to teach you sword?! It is obvious that your body is made to hold a spear!” Her amber eyes shook with fury as her hands came into fists at her waist.
“C-calm down, dear! It isn’t Adam’s fault!” Erwin said, holding her biceps and squeezing himself against it. It seemed to shake Abigail out of her fury. She let out a sigh before passing her hand on her face, looking exhausted.
“Sorry, it’s a sensitive topic for me and I already have a short temper. I will be honest with you, Adam, I spent some time with the Aleksy’s tribe while on my adventurer’s days. I can guess that you are somehow related to them. You don’t have tattoos, so I guess you didn’t come into contact with a member of the tribe yet for some reason. Let me tell you one thing, your body is one similar to many warriors of the Aleksy tribe and there is one thing all warriors have in common: a body highly compatible with spears. Let me guess, you must have had difficulties learning the sword, no?” Abigail said with a serious tone, different from her normal attitude. Adam flinched at her words, looking with wide eyes at her. Evan raised a brow, not expecting the plot twist.
“Yes… I always thought I was just a bad learner, because of my magic too… I guess it’s understandable if what you say is true.” Adam answered, looking slightly relieved to learn that he wasn’t the weak one, it was only because he wasn’t fit for the sword. Abigail looked at the knight with pensive eyes, tilting her head to the side as she scrutinized him.
He made her think of a girl she once met on her journey, just as strong headed as her. She wondered where she had gone now. The last time they spoke, the woman was still looking for her sister. Abigail bit her tongue before she could ask Adam if he had ever met a woman that looked just like him. Judging from his body completely free of tattoos, he must not have grown up near an Aleksy’s member. Thinking back to the wandering girl, Abigail decided to lend her help. If her hypothese one day came true, she would have done her duty.
“Little warrior, if you want, I can teach you the way of the spears. I’m getting bored staying seated at a desk, but my days as an adventurer are way outdated. I can guarantee you that I will make you stronger, and you may even be able to overthrow this big bear you call a companion. Don’t you wish you could make him submit?” Abigail said with a smirk, wiggling her eyebrows at him. Adam looked confused for a few seconds, before a blush took over his face. He groaned with embarrassment, hiding behind his hands.
He hadn’t thought about it, honestly. Even if he was feeling more and more attracted to his slave, it wasn’t near a point where he could begin to think about having sexual intercourses. It was more like a wishful thinking of both of them going on an adventure and staying a long time together. He wasn’t even sure if the slave could one day be attracted to him.
He didn’t think so.
For now, he should bury his unwanted desires and only have pure thoughts. He should see Evan as a companion only, one that may leave him soon.
Just remembering their near departure sent Adam back to his depressive state. He rubbed his hands on his face with exhaustion before glancing back at a still smirking Abigail, looking proud of her remark, just like a child’s smug little face, while Erwin slowly shook his head behind her. His point ears dropped in desperation, he looked quite used to this sight.
“I would appreciate it, yes. What do you want in exchange?” Adam asked, making Evan frown. He was happy that his master could get stronger, but the thought of spending less time with him was quite saddening. Even worse was the fact that Adam’s instructor would be a woman, albeit a married one.
“Your slave’s body” Was what Abigail said with an evil laugh, making all of them freeze, before a fuming Erwin shook his little wings to fly with difficulty up to his wife’s height and beat Abigail’s back of the head.
Hey dear readers, did you expect it???
Abigail and Erwin are such a strange couple, but I like them! Hope you do too!
I thought of making Erwin gay, but I didn’t want to fall into the “I’m gay so is everyone” trope. Sure, Adam and Evan aren’t exactly gay, but you get what I mean. What do you think?
