(A little boy awakens in a realm consumed by darkness. Surrounded by an unfathomable void, he can see nothing but blackness stretching infinitely in all directions. The silence is deafening, and even the air feels stagnant, devoid of any movement. Despite the eerie circumstances, he remains surprisingly calm, unafraid of the unknown that envelops him. Determined, he rises to his feet and embarks on a journey through this abyss.)
Boy: Where am I? What is this place? Why am I here? Who am I? How did I get to this place? I can't remember anything.
(Undeterred, he presses forward, hoping to find an exit or some semblance of understanding. However, no matter how far he walks, he discovers no escape, no glimmer of light in this pitch-black void. Hunger gnaws at his stomach, a reminder that he has likely gone without food for days.
Time loses all meaning in this realm of darkness, and the days blur together as he relentlessly traverses the featureless expanse, searching for answers.)
Boy: (How long has it been? I have wandered aimlessly for so long that my sanity teeters on the edge. Who has cast me into this realm? Why did they do this?.)
(After an eternity of aimless wandering, a sound finally reaches his ears, breaking the suffocating silence.)
Boy: (What's that sound? Something is approaching. It sounds small, like a dog? No, dogs don't have this many legs. What could it be?)
(A colossal centipede emerges from the shadows, crawling up his arm and wrapping its many legs around him. Desperate to free himself from its grip, he struggles to no avail, only to be met with a venomous bite on his neck.)
Boy: (A centipede? Why is it so enormous? I can't speak. I have been poisoned...)
(He crumples to the ground, his body convulsing in agony as the venom courses through his veins. Waves of pain overwhelm his senses, drowning out all rational thought.)
Boy: (What is this poison? It defies all sense of normalcy. My heart's beating so fast, I can't breath. I can't think of anything besides the pain. What is happening to me?)
(The single centipede soon turns into a swarm, tge swarm of centipedes multiplies even further, crawling all over him. Some enter into his ears, while others invade his mouth and nose. The rest converge on his body, biting him relentlessly, injecting more venom with each excruciating bite. As the poison spreads, his veins darken, staining his once-vibrant blood with the poison's malevolence. Consciousness slips away, and he teeters on the precipice of death.)
Boy: Is this the end? Am I going to die here?
(In his last moments, he catches sight of an alternate version of himself, a manifestation of his inner strength and determination. The apparition speaks to him.)
Alt version: Are you ready to surrender? Will you embrace death?
Boy: (Huh? A voice? Ah, it's me.)
Alt version: If you choose to die, you will forever remain ignorant. You will never uncover the identity of the one who has placed you here, nor the reason behind your existence in this desolate place. Do you really want such a shameful death?
(These words ignite a fire within him, strengthening his resolve as he clenches his teeth.)
Boy: (I haven't thought about it because I wasn't in my right mind all this time. I have to meet the bastard who put me here. And for that reason, I'll survive no matter what. I can't move my body but I'll bear it all this pain bear it all.)
(Determined and resolute, his eyes transform from those of a defeated soul to those of an individual ready to bear the weight of the world. He braces himself against the onslaught of pain, knowing that surviving this trial is his only path to the truth. And so, he endures, as the venomous assault persists, his spirit unyielding.)
Emerging from the Abyss:
(Weeks turned into months, and time lost its grip on the little boy as he endured the torment within the dark abyss. He clung to the will to survive, pushing forward despite the pain and suffering that engulfed him.)
Boy: (How long has it been? Weeks? Months? I don't know and it doesn't matter. Well it doesn't matter, just survive).
(The onslaught of centipedes eventually receded, leaving him battered but still breathing. However, his respite was short-lived as the echoing sound of slithering snakes reached his ears.)
Boy: (They all left? What's this sound? Centipede? No, this peculiar sound, Snakes).
(The snakes climb onto him and bite him all over his body. After that came scorpions)
Boy: (There's no way this is random. Someone is controlling these things but why? What did I do to be tortured like this? All I can do is try not to lose my mind while clinging onto life. I can feel it the poison is starting to lose effect but the pain isn't subsiding, it's increasing each day).
(In the distance, three shadowy figures observed the boy, their faces concealed by the darkness.)
1: "Despite three months of constant poisoning, he remains alive. Increase the intensity and quality of the cursed beasts."
2: "How far should we push him?"
1: "Push him to his limits. Unleash the most powerful unranked beasts upon him."
Boy: (A distant voice?.)
1: "Can you hear me? Of course, you can't respond with all the curses surging through you."
Boy: (Who is he? Could he be the one responsible for this torment? Curses?)
1: "Do you desire answers? Do you want to know who I am and why I have subjected you to this ordeal? All will be revealed when you become strong enough."
Boy: (Strong enough? What is he talking about?.)
1: "Once you have grown strong enough, I will reveal myself to you. But if you prove to be useless, nothing more than trash, then there is no purpose for your existence." (After hearing my voice, you will unconsciously etch my location in your mind. You will endure the torture day after day, losing your emotions, your humanity, becoming a survivor, the ultimate weapon) "I await your arrival, Karma. Do not disappoint me".
(Karma grits his teeth and bears the pain as murderous thoughts flowed through his mind.)
Karma: (I promise you, I will not only grow stronger to find you, but I will also kiill you and everyone involved in this plan. I will tear out your hearts with my own hands.)
[Weeks later]
Karma: (Without a name, I will accept the one you have given me. Karma. I will hold onto it, fueling my anger and killing intent. As long as I remember it, I am Karma.)
[Karma, 4 years old]
(Karma kicks away a centipede and rises to his feet, filled with determination. With fury in his eyes, he leaps onto the centipede, tearing off its head with his teeth.)
Karma: (Survive. I will kill every damn monster and ensure my survival.)
(He proceeds to tear apart and devour all the Centipedes around him. After eating the last one, he gets up and looks around. The room had become somewhat brighter than before.)
Karma: (After devouring them and with everything that's happened to me, I realized something. My senses are getting sharper in this lightless room. I could even hear that man's voice from kilometers away.)
(Over time, Karma encounters more monsters, honing his skills and adapting to the harsh environment. Slowly, the room begins to take shape, revealing the bones of his conquered foes.)
[A year later, Karma, now five years old.]
(A massive snake sinks its fangs into Karma's shoulder, but he responds with annoyance.)
Karma: Don't waste your venom.
(With a powerful punch, he sends the snake crashing into the ground, obliterating its head.)
Karma: Don't you know water's hard to come by, dumbass?
(Devouring the snake with astonishing speed, he retrieves its bones and returns to the wall, where he adds them to the towering pile.)
Karma: Since there seems to be no way out...
(He unleashes a relentless barrage of punches upon the wall, his fists bleeding, but his determination unyielding.)
Karma: It's tough. Harder than the ground I can easily break apart. But a little blood won't stop me.
(Finally, the wall gives way, revealing a cave. The light streaming in from the cave entrance affects his eyes, which have grown accustomed to the perpetual darkness.)
Karma: Even this deep underground, moonlight has such an impact. I've been underground all this time, just as I suspected.
The Awakening
(Karma, with his bleeding fist dives head first into the cave, shielding his eyes from the light. He sensed a lurking presence, anticipating an ambush.)
Karma: (I can't bear this light, but there's something here, waiting for an opportunity to strike.)
(Taking quick action, he hurled a rock, revealing a massive snake coiled around a stone column, towering over him.)
Karma: Something this enormous was lurking here?
(The snake's tail thrashed and slammed into Karma, hurling him against a wall with great force.)
Karma: There's no other choice. It's either kill or be killed, and I refuse to die.
(With unwavering determination, Karma lept into action, launching a barrage of punches at the formidable beast. However, his strikes proved ineffective against the snake's tough scales.
Undeterred, he evaded the snake's attacks, creating openings to strike. But in a swift countermove, the snake bit into Karma, injecting him with venom and cursed energy, sending him crashing to the ground.)
Karma: Argh! (It pierced my gut. I've lost a lot of blood already. But what's this feeling bubbling up inside? It's about to explode. Yeah, why am I fighting? To kill? No, to win? No, I'm fighting to survive and for that reason I won't die).
(Suddenly, his alternate version resurfaced, urging him to awaken.)
Alt version: Awaken.
(Karma screams words unknown to him from the depths of his lungs)
Karma: "Neo Force!"
(A series of shockwaves erupted, obliterating the snake and collapsing the stone columns. Chains materialized from portals, restraining Karma. With a surge of determination, he strained against the chains, his bloodlust burning fiercely. Eventually, he broke free, launching a final assault on the snake.)
Karma: Must be my lucky day, six more hearts to tear out.
(He jumps back and he and the snake fight it out until he rips out all of it's hearts and devours them one by one.)
Karma: Die!
(He unleashed a devastating strike, shattering the snake into countless pieces.)
Karma: I think I heard that voice again. Or was it just my imaginati...
(The chains returned, binding Karma once more. Overwhelmed by pain and exhaustion, he collapsed, screaming in agony. His tone decreases sharply and he begins panting heavily)
Karma: Nothing comes without a cost...
(Unconscious, Karma was discovered by two heavily armored guards.)
Guard 1: There he is!
Guard 2: He's progressing even faster than expected.
Guard 1: This is not just fast; he's ahead of the schedule by nine years.
Guard 2: How can a child of five possess such abilities?
Guard 1: What should we do?
Guard 2: Let's bring him before the King. He should decide.
(Karma awoke in a lab, strapped to a table, barely regaining consciousness.)
Karma: (Where am I? Why's everything blurry?)
Rena: We've exhausted every method we could think of, but this child lacks Hexen.
Zeke: As absurd as it sounds, that's the only conclusion.
[One of the Four Demon Kings of the Nether Realm, Zeke. Known as the Mystic Demon King.]
Rena: Even his wounds show resistance to healing.
[Right Hand Lady of the Mystic Demon King, Rena. A crazy scientist with a perverse nature.]
Zeke: That man claimed this child is an invaluable asset and that we should train him at all costs to secure victory in the war.
Rena: Are you absolutely certain about this? What if he was deceiving you?
Zeke: He had no reason to deceive us. He provided this training facility and all the necessary resources himself before disappearing.
Rena: Well, I suppose that's true. But why would he give away something like this?
Zeke: Some things are best left unknown. This child is a priceless prize, and we cannot afford to let anyone discover his existence.
Rena: But even I find it hard to believe what this child truly is.
Zeke: Since he is surpassing the expected progress, we will infuse his essence and shape him into the ultimate weapon. No one could ever fathom the existence of an Omni-Slayer.
Karma: (I couldn't tell before, but now I'm certain—these two aren't human).
