(Karma is taken in his injured state and thrown into a pit without treatment. The pit was pitch black and had a rotten smell looming over it. He starts to regain control over his limbs and gradually, getting up on all fours limbs.)
Karma: Where is this...?
(Karma instinct kicks in and he suddenly leaps away and escapes the clutches of an unknown assailant.)
Karma: A Wolf? No, it's too big to call a wolf.
[Unranked Cursed Beast, Cursed Lycan.]
(The Lycan was at least 5 times Karma's size and towered over 8 feet tall. It growls before howling to call in more of its kind. Karma slowly got back on his feet as he staggers before finally regaining his balance.)
Karma: (A Wolf Pack. Can I take them on in my current state?.) No, to survive, I'll kill you all.
Zeke: Rena, you don't seem convinced about this kid's status, do you?
Rena: Of course. I still think we are being played.
Zeke: Well then, let's see if you're right about that.
Rena: (No matter how much I analyze him, there's no difference between him and an ordinary child. No, he's less than the average child and you expect me to believe this kid's....) Huh?
(Karma's fight begins and the weak child from before is nowhere to be seen. Karma becomes a killing fiend, ripping apart all the wolves who come after him. In just a few seconds, the hunters had become the hunted.
He kills them one after another, also eating their hearts as he fights, covered in blood from head to toe. The remaining wolves begin to back off in fear, but none escape his sight as he brutally massacres the whole pack. After the fight, he collapses on the ground in exhaustion. Rena's calm and disappointed expression changed into amazement and fear)
Rena: Is that thing human?
Zeke: He's good. No, he's a lot better than expected. He finished his ten-year grooming plan in a year. Since he's done, let's train him some more until we're ready.
Rena: Yes, My Lord.
[Days turned into a grueling nightmare for Karma. He endured endless beatings, his body pushed to the brink of death. Then, he was thrust into pits to face monstrous creatures, each more formidable than the last. Punishments were inflicted upon him mercilessly, binding him with heavy boulders and subjecting him to further torment. With each passing day, the trials became increasingly insurmountable, pushing Karma to the limits of his sanity.
Emotions waned within him, replaced by an instinctual drive for survival. He acknowledged his transformation from a human into a savage beast, solely focused on the preservation of his own existence.]
Karma: (I can't be considered human anymore. I'm just a beast fighting for survival.)
[Nine years later, Karma is 14 years old. He stands before Zeke and Rena with his hands chained and an emotionless face.]
Karma: Prisoner execution complete. (Nine years have passed since the torture started, and each day, I feel like I'll lose my mind. But only one thing keeps me going: my hatred and anger sparked by the greatest gift he ever gave me...)
Zeke: Good job, Karma.
Karma: (...My name.)
Zeke: Take him hunting.
(While Karma walks away, Zeke and Rena begin speaking about the final stages of their plan.)
Zeke: There's only one more thing left to solidify his resolve as an Omni-Slayer.
Rena: The test preparations are underway. He has already sent the necessary tools. It'll all start tomorrow.
Zeke: Well then, give him a send-off party.
Karma: (Send-off party? Where are they taking me? It doesn't matter. I'll just kill whatever stands in my way.)
(Karma is thrown into a large pit, far larger than any of the previous ones he had been in. The smell of blood fills the air, and the walls and ground are stained with it.
The guards taunt Karma constantly telling him about how hungry the beasts within the pit were. The tension around Karma tightens and his blood red eyes shine brighter.)
Karma: (What is this?)
(Multiple beasts open their eyes and appear in the shadows. The sound of thousands of cages being unlocked puts Karma on high alert. Karma keeps his cool and turns his head in different directions peering into the darkness around him.)
Karma: (One, two... no, ten... no, there are at least fifty thousand beasts in here. Is this what they were saving all their beasts for?) Well then, come if you want to die.
(The battle starts, and within moments, it turns into a bloodbath. Many beasts surround and attack Karma simultaneously. His fatigue builds up, but his body doesn't stop moving to catch his breath or rest. He keeps going, his red eyes glowing brighter and brighter.)
Karma: (Don't stop... kill, kill... just keep killing them. Don't think about anything else, just kill.)
(A monster knocks him down and bites his arm, completely ravaging it and tearing it into bone surrounded by tattered pieces of meat. Karma stomps his foot on the ground and retaliates by gouging into it's eye and digging deep into its eye socket until it releases him. He throws himself at the beast and bites it to death by ripping apart it's throat and entire neck.)
Karma: I'll kill you all.
Zeke: Good, good.
(Rena looks at Karma with glowing eyes. Her body trembling from ecstasy she felt while watching him. She puts a finger on her lip and tries to hide her sudden arousal from Zeke.)
Rena: (Covered in so many injuries, he's still going. I... I must have him.)
(Zeke was too absorbed in Karma's performance to pay any attention to Rena. Zeke readies himself to spectate an intense battle between Karma and the formidable Peak Grade 10 Beast, the last two survivors of this encounter. Rena stood by his side, her doubts lingering in her mind.
Zeke remarked with a hint of satisfaction "It's coming to a conclusion." Rena seemed frustrated but could do nothing but hope for a good outcome.)
Rena: Yes, My Lord. Only the two apex predators remain.
(Zeke's eyes gleamed with intrigue as he contemplated the outcome.)
Zeke: Now let's see how he fares against such a formidable opponent.
(Rena could no longer help but voice her concern.)
Rena: Shouldn't we have used a Grade 10 beast? This one seems excessively challenging.
Zeke: There's no point in holding back. If we truly want to mold him into the ultimate weapon, we must push him beyond his limits.
(Rena couldn't help but think sarcastically.)
Rena: (You say that, but there's nothing comfortable about this for anyone involved. Just make sure he doesn't end up dead. I still have plans for him.)
(As the battle commenced, Karma and the beast engaged in a furious clash, their ferocity matching one another. Rena watched with a mixture of awe and concern.)
Rena: Will he be alright? He can only use one arm at the moment. (It's hard to tell who's the beast and who's the human in this brutal encounter?)
(Zeke's gaze remained fixed on Karma's face, which bore a chilling expression. It was the very look he had yearned to witness.)
Zeke: Look at his face, that menacing look is precisely what I wanted to see.
(Driven by an overwhelming bloodlust, Karma relentlessly charged at the beast, their clash echoing through the battleground. Despite the beast's claws digging deep into his flesh, Karma refused to yield, tearing the creature apart with sheer determination.)
Karma: Die!
(Karma's voice echoed with a mixture of triumph and primal rage. With a final punch, Karma unleashed a devastating blow, causing a torrent of blood and organs to spray forth from the defeated beast. Standing amidst the gruesome aftermath, Karma was drenched in the evidence of his victory.
Rena couldn't hide her surprise and relief.)
Rena: He actually won.
Zeke: Take him away. From this day forward, he won't be forced to kill anymore...
(He paused for a moment, his tone turning ominous and speaking to Rena in a low tune.)
Zeke: But rest assured, he will continue to kill by his own will.
(The guards swiftly obeyed, leading the bloody Karma away from the battlefield, his fate forever altered by the trials he had endured.)
