(Karma stood before a large, sketchy-looking portal, ready to embark on his test. He observed the portal, recognizing its resemblance to a Dungeon portal, but shrugged off any concerns.

Without hesitation, Karma stepped into the portal and found himself in a new environment—a cave with multiple branching paths leading into darkness.)

Voice: Welcome, candidate Karma. Your test starts now. Make your way to the end of the Dungeon to pass this test.

(Karma proceeds inside the Dungeon showing no sign of fear or hesitation.

Time seemed to blur as Karma navigated the treacherous paths, encountering numerous challenges and battling monstrous creatures along the way. Hours passed, but Karma's determination never wavered. Finally, he emerged from the Dungeon, triumphant but unimpressed.)

Karma: So annoying .

(As he glanced around, Karma noticed a small crowd gathered around a boy of his age, buzzing with excitement.)

Random person: "Someone broke into the top 3 of the rankings." "He also did it under one hour."

(Karma observed the boy silently, acknowledging his impressive strength. However, he remained impassive, keeping his own accomplishments to himself.

Meanwhile, the figure who stood in the middle of the crowd named Ronin sensed a presence in the vicinity but couldn't quite place it.

Intent on his mission, Karma proceeded to the Administrative Block to get registered as a Saiya. Inside, he interacted with the attendants and completed the necessary paperwork. As soon as he leaves, the attendant heads to the back and picks up a special telephone which was isolated from all other items. She bows down before the phone as it connected to someone else's phone.)

Attendant: Greetings, Your Majesty.

Ace: [For what reason have you chosen to disturb a King's peaceful time.]

Attendant: Please forgive this lowly servants rudeness but I had important information to pass across regarding the Test you wanted me to survey. Another Grade 6 Saiya has appeared, Your Majesty.

[Grades are compiled rankings given to determine a Saiya's capabilities. It's also used to determine the projected damage level when Saiya go into battle. It goes down from the lowest 10th Grade to the highest Grade 1

Outer Saiya cannot be intially ranked higher than 6th Grade until they've proven themselves to Etherion. Grades are also used to determine the threat level of a Saiya's opponent and their possible destruction range.]

Ace: [Another? There was one today as well?]

Attendant: Yes, Your Majesty. His name is Ronin.

Ace: [Ronin? Was that the kid Jade was talking about?]

Attendant: Yes, he almost matched Hydra's record, but was only three seconds short. However, he killed a lot more beasts than Hydra did.

Ace: [The margin is that narrow after killing more beasts?]

Attendant: Yes, it seems this year is full of spectacular individuals.

Ace: [To have two 6th Grades is quite rare. (We even have a 5th Grade too.)]

Attendant: Not only that, someone actually managed to clear the entire course.

Ace: [Cleared the course?]

Attendant: Yes, it took him nearly three hours, but he successfully completed the entire challenge. Unfortunately, he's ranked as a 10th Grade Saiya.

Ace: [How is that even possible for a 10th Grade Saiya to clear the whole course? (No one has ever done it because the course isn't meant to be cleared).]

Attendant: I believe his name is Karma.

Ace: [Karma, huh? (Nova, is the change you were talking about starting to take place?) Dismissed]

(Karma made his way back to Nova, his exhaustion and hunger evident.)

Karma: I'm back.

(Nova glanced at Karma, a hint of surprise in his eyes.)

Nova: Three hours, isn't that a bit slow?

Karma: Slow? I thought we were supposed to eliminate all the monsters in there. Some of them went into hiding, so I had to track them down.

Nova: There were at least three thousand monsters in each test. (Wait, they went into hiding? Were they scared of him?.)

Karma: Yeah, it took me quite some time to hunt them down. If it weren't for that, I could've finished much earlier.

Nova: I see. (I totally forgot to tell him he was supposed to escape from the dungeon.) Did you use Neo Force?

Karma: You said I shouldn't use it unless my life was in danger, right? (You should know since you've put so many limiters on me.)

Nova: Good. Did you encounter anyone else?

Karma: I saw someone particularly strong.

Nova: Ah, must be a Divine Incarnate.

Karma: Divine Incarnate?

Nova: They're humans who have been granted the Blessings of Divinities. Usually, they are extremely talented individuals whose powers will undoubtedly skyrocket in the future. You'll be encountering many of them from now on.

(Karma remained silent, processing the information.)

Nova: Well, let's go to where you'll be staying for now.

Karma: I'm getting hungry.

Nova: We'll eat later.

Karma: Ugh, where are we going anyways?

Nova: We're going to meet one of the Ten Gates of Etherion—the 10th Gate.
