A chill ran down their backs looking over at Nick instinctively but there was no sign of movement nor life coming from him so they wondered what was possibly putting them on alert. A minute passed and that chill came back this time stronger and lingered for much longer than previously giving them some paranoia. Cloudy called out for Royal to stick together which Royal chose smartly and moved cautiously over to Cloudy thinking there was an enemy that somehow managed to enter the forest. Instead what soon came into their field of view was an unidentified object flying at insane speeds across the forest and into the strange realm they were in as it flew toward them almost aiming for their heads.
"Put your chest to the floor!"
Royal demanded as he pulled Cloudy's shirt down with him in case he was too slow. They watched as whatever it was completely tear the two gates that separated the outside world and Hunter apart without sweat. They could hardly believe it thinking their eyes were playing tricks on them.
"Was that a weapon?"
Cloudy whispered to him wanting some form of answer.
All Royal did was look at the gate as it repaired itself with ease shortly after it was completely deformed and roughed up.
"I.. don't-.. know."
Royal said with low confidence.
Back within the throne room just before the knight was about to drive his weapon into Hunter's head a massive object was shot out from the entrance of the throne room putting a divide between him and Hunter. Hunter stood and grabbed the hilt of the blade seeing it was massive more so than most and even more than what most of those would consider massive. You wouldn't even consider it a weapon if there wasn't the stench of blood oozing out. The sheer size of it would seem impossible to lift let alone move around. It was a gigantic great-sword with an oppressive size of eight feet in length with it's width going for a whopping three feet long. Hunter opened his eyes putting down the blinds behind to show off a dazzling azure cosmic blue from his iris. His kicked his blade upward as if it didn't weight anything more than a feather to him snatching the hilt again this time with his left hand taking things seriously. Now on even ground the two had weapons ready with the conditions set. Hunter swung his blade slowly yet dangerously with blades of wind being conjured from the sheer force of the swing. They were all launched aiming for the knight as he allowed one of them to slice into his armor and the second one into his chest.
The knight was sent flying backwards with a heavy thud. The two men stood there staring at one another with a silent understanding of the situation they were in. The knight had been sent flying with such a tremendous force that he had been thrown deep into the walls of the throne room with proof of an heavy impact left behind.
"That's one hell of a weapon you have there. It really does give me memories."
The knight remarked with his voice being muffled by the helmet he wore.
The guardian charged at him as he swung his blade at him forcing blood to squirt out without stopping yet that didn't stop the knight's approach as he grabbed the third blade of air with his bare hands and threw it somewhere else. He rushed at Hunter like a beast as he blitzed passed the pillars of the throne holding both weapons now. His frame was much larger than before hand now with his strength raising at explosive levels. His ax began to show signs of a dark space color like the second gateway with all its mysteriousness. He leapt to the air landing on one of the pillars before using it as a spring to launch himself at Hunter. He redirected his attack away with his impossibly large blade and forced the knight back. Hunter used the debris and dust to his advantage moving along with the clouds around finding his time to strike. Unfortunately the pain from his head began to get worse than before making him let out a single small peep giving away his location. The black knight heard his cries of pain throwing one of his cosmic axes straight at his location. He got a surprise visit when the axe came flying from the clouds flying right at his head and within a fraction of a second no within a fraction of a millisecond everything froze in place for him. The space around him turned silent with Hunter's eyes exploding with vibrancy. The man looked on in awe witnessing Hunter catch the blade of his axe with his own teeth using aura. The knight clapped as metal was clinging around moving closer to him explaining no one had ever lasted so long in a fight against him before nor managed to capture his weapon in such a way.
"You refined your mouth to protect yourself from the blade side while ensuring you didn't put too much aura or else the energy would just repel my weapon away. Splendid."
At that point Hunter was not listening as the adrenaline was rushing around his body and his instinct were in control but if there was one thing they had in common it was the sole fact that they were aiming for survival. Hunter stood tall as a single exhale left his mouth before leaping at the threat. He sharpened the knight's ax with energy swinging at his neck with brute strength. The swing he made caused the wind to push the knight off balance allowing him to go for another attack. He raised his own weapon bringing it down on the man without hesitation until he got a horrifying chill down his body, senses screaming danger, hairs standing high with goosebumps spreading around at fast speeds. He took a quick look down noticing that the ax was no longer in his hand as his eyes locked onto the knight. Hunter jumped away not knowing what was coming and refined his body as tightly as he could make it. The knights muscles bulged from his armor and expanded as the air around him was tense. Purple and black aura began to excrete from his body onto his ax that seemingly just appeared on his hand. He swung a mighty swing enough to slice a mountain entirely in half with one single wave of his blade. Hunter barely managed to dodge the attack even when he jumped away in advance. Although reality is rather cruel to those who like doing things with a plan in mind. His eyes locked downward spotting his right hand missing with blood pouring out of the stump. The man gazed at him while he was clearly in shock from the unexpected attack reaching him and not from the undisputed fact that his hand had been severed. Instead of giving in and panicking Hunter reached for his bag he had on his side and took out a roll of gauze and wrapped the stump hastily holding back his groans. The knight with a surprised tone comments on how no one managed to ever survive that attack he had done but him. Hunter didn't care for what he said and came with his own question that he still hadn't had answered yet.
"Who are you?"
"No no no~. You're not supposed to be asking that right now. We are in battle. It's impolite to be asking those questions."
"But.. It should be obvious on who I am?"
Taking his time to observe the little details from head to toe he knew that he was definitely abnormal for being a human. He had a slight discoloration of light blue to white skin to normal humans and had three colors coming from his hair, blue, red, and the main color black.
"I haven't seen you for over two decades and you continue to be the same are you were even back then. Still brainless I see."
Shocked Hunter shouted.
