wakes up to find a sweet note on the kitchen table: "I'll take your car, don't change the door code..."
A childish, silly expression appears on Jacob's face.
With his charming features and long curly hair reaching his shoulders, he mutters,
"I don't want any trouble, you silly girl. Don't make me regret letting you into my house."
He wanders around the kitchen, attempting to prepare breakfast while muttering to himself,
"She should have at least made breakfast. Maybe I should have left her napping on the street; that would have been better." Jacob starts preparing breakfast and suddenly,
the doorbell rings, loud and clear. "It's morning! Who could that be?"
Jacob wonders as he makes his way to the front door.
Opening the door, he finds Idir, Lily's sixteen-year-old brother, standing before him.
Jacob sighs and says, "It's you. What's going on? Won't you and your sister leave me in peace?"
He leaves the door open in front of Idir and heads back towards the kitchen, continuing the conversation,
"Were you also kicked out? I'll have to leave the city because of you two. Do I have any refuge here or what?"
Idir, a handsome boy with a cheerful demeanor and clear white skin, stands beside Jacob, dressed in stylish clothes. He starts laughing and then says, "Ahem, ahem... Dad is here too..."
Next to Idir, there stands a middle-aged man, seemingly handsome despite his age. He is dressed formally.
He speaks, "Should I apologize for my presence as well, oh stranger?"
He addresses Jacob, who appears surprised by the visit of Lily's father.
Jacob rubs his head and runs his hand down his neck, saying,
"I didn't notice your presence. Oops, sorry about that. But look, your daughter invaded my workplace yesterday. Is she in a gang or something?"
It seems that Jacob and Lily's father share a beautiful and playful relationship,
as Jacob talks to him as if he were a friend.
Lily's father chuckles heartily, finding Jacob's comment amusing. He responds,
"Oh, she's always been a bit of a troublemaker. But don't worry my friend, she means well. She just has a knack for finding herself in peculiar situations."
Jacob, now more at ease with Lily's father's presence, starts setting the table for breakfast.
He gestures for Idir and Lily's father to join him. "Well, since you're here, might as well have breakfast together"
he suggests with a warm smile.
Lily's father, wearing a perplexed expression, looked around and asked, "Where is she? Is she still asleep?"
Jacob, with his mouth full of cheese, replied, "Lucky me that you all showed up. She took my car, and I have no idea where she went. You'll give me a ride, thanks"
He glanced towards the dining table while Lily's father stood there, startled, saying,
"Oh my God, don't tell me she went back to college to attend the class today."
He held his head and continued, as Jacob and Idir stared at him in disbelief,
"She was expelled last day. If they catch her again, her mother will kill us all."
Idir interjected, "What does it have to do with me? Didn't we come here just to visit her and return her ID? Dad, I don't want any trouble with my mom." He waved his hands animatedly, hoping to avoid any consequences.
Mr. Anderson gazed at his son, realizing the weight of the situation. "Believe me, Idir, I don't want any trouble either. If they catch Lily again, her mother will explode, and we'll all be caught in the crossfire!"
Then, they both stared at Jacob, who had stopped eating the cheese. Suddenly, Jacob shouted,
"I won't welcome anyone else here! Enough!"
With an exasperated sigh, he stormed off, rummaging through his wardrobe in search of something decent to wear. "I get it, I get it. I'll go hunt her down. Just spare me the accusing glances already!" he grumbled.
