Chapter 16 – Cat

It has been ten days since the incident at Dolion café. Professor Draven, Aiden, Lunar, Nagisa, Erina (Elder Dolion), are on a special meeting. Kai was late as usual. The meeting is being commenced at night on their campus. The meeting was about the Mysterious, Ego Proxy; her detainment and the integrated Donas’ she create.

“Hmm… so Erina is the main player? since she is the only one seen Ego Proxy.” Asked Aiden.

“…And Lunar is the trump card?”

“Yes, that’s the plan.” Assured Professor.

“Ugh… where is that handsome kid? He is not here yet.” Asked Erina about Kai.

“What are you talking about, girl? The handsome kid is already here~.” Said professor as he pointed to himself.

“Tsk… old fart.”

“Old—Wha… I’m just 40.”

“Whateve…, Does that Kid have a girlfriend?”

“Yes, he is my husband…” In a panic, Lunar answered.

“Bold move Lunar.”

“Yeah, bold.”

“Yes keep that up, lunar.” All three, Professor, Nagisa and Aiden encouraged her.

She silently withdrew in embarrassment.

“HoHo, it’s a me Kai.” Kai arrived fashionably late.

Everyone stared dead right into his eye in silence.

“Please, at least, comment on my entry…” Kai Silently withdrew in embarrassment.

“…”

“So, as far as the plan go, tomorrow get ready we are going to the proxy’s club.” Said professor in a heightened voice.

“What plan, what club..?”

“For latecomers, we aren’t telling the plan. Get on with the flow.” Said irritated Nagisa.

“Um… Kai, tomorrow at pr—“

“Ump… Don’t… don’t say a word to him about the plan. He should learn a thing or two about punctuality.” Said Professor shutting Lunar up.

“Hmm… You have the power of time and you are the late comer.” Mumble Aiden in Kai’s ears.

“Is that the best you could come up with??”

“So… um… yeah…um… hehe...Kid… hi.”

“Crap, Crap, Crap, He looks so cool I can’t even speak up a word.” Thought Erina looking at Kai.

“Um… I brought you some tea…” said a new voice entering the room.

“MOM?! Why are you here? And why are you giving tea only to Draven?” asked shocked Erina.

“It’s just because…”

“It is because I am the most loveable, cute, adorable professor in the world.” Screamed from his lungs, Draven.

“Hmph… You will spoil your throat, screaming like that… drink this tea before it gets cold…~” Said Eureka (The mother), in a calm voice.

“Yeah…um…yesh, Sure…~”

“AH… professor…AHAHA!”

“Draven, you little sneak!…”

“HEY! Don’t call me by my name, taking it as a chance, Aiden.”

“Yeah… Don’t call him by his name, Aiden. Only I have the rights, isn’t that right, Draven?” Said Kai as he casually put up his hand on Draven’s shoulder.

“Hmm…” Professor looked at Kai in silence.

“Yes, only he can call me by my name… Since I have changed his wet diapers as kid~.”

“ARAHHHH!” Kai silently withdrew again in embarrassment.

“Tomorrow. 8.00am. Proxy’s club.” Said professor as he stepped out.

After hearing the word ‘club’, Kai eyeballed Aiden. They both had the same look: that they were planning on something.

“Uwah… these two are at it again… this idiot brother of mine… and this idiot friend of his…”

Everyone left and went back to prepare for the big day. And the day arrived. Draven, Erina and Nagisa met up at the entrance of the campus at 7.00am. At 7.15am, both Aiden and Kai walked in suited up.

“Seriously, suits? This is what you eyeballed him yesterday?” asked Nagisa tired at their gimmicks.

“Whaaa…. It’s a club we are going to… our number one priority is to…?”

“…kill’em with style.” Aiden completed Kai’s sentence.

“Your number one priority is mission though.”

“Ahh… you already killed one right here…” Said professor looking at Erina, who was love-struck at them.

“Heyy~~~” Shouted Lunar as she came running down towards them. She was way more dressed up than Kai and Aiden. She wore a formal party attire and a fur coat.

“Whoaa… you’re way overboard than them.” Nagisa said, surprised looking at Lunar.

“It is a club after all…~”

“You talk just like Kai…”

With everyone onboard, they were ready to go light up Ms. Ego Proxy’s club on fire and also to detain her.

“…Ok gang, Let light that club in fire.” Said Kai as they stepped forward, ready to depart.
