a wonderful bright sunny day alone in a hospital bed with ethan talking all about crazy coffee flavors and crazy younger siblings trying to kill him, had started. the sun had just risen and the day was just unfolding. until kai noticed that the door had opened and there stood detective tsukauchi and his principal. he bowed in bed which made his boyfriend turn around and bow too without even knowing who was there. "hello, good morning. is there something you need?" ethan asked. he was the (much) more polite on in the relationship. "yes, uh, we're here to tell kanamori of the new heights alliance living arrangements" the principal spoke. "thank you" kai responded "but why is the detective here?" he wanted to say, but kept it to himself. "you'll be moving in on the following monday so pack everything the day before" the principal spoke before leaving shortly with the detective. 

"well," ethan said "that was weird" he took out two individually wrapped candies and gave one to kai. "thanks"
