It was a strange morning, after the attack that had happened it soon came to light that many similar attacks had accoured across the city in great numbers with most cases ending in death, so far only a handful of people survived and they all described their saviour the same way, a tall woman with long flowing purple hair, looking almost like a ghost as she appeared and disappeared along with the creatures. Jack had decided to mention that she had helped them, explaining that she was what was called an exiled, similar to him cast out from the Reaper realm but rather then having their powers stripped they were sent to live permanently on an earth and live out their immortal life until that realm came to its natural end, but he couldn't say why she was exiled as they are all exiled for different reasons, some even chose to be in order to better serve and study humans he said with a distained face which told me he didn't understand why they would but soon he stopped and looked at me as if to try and say he didn't mean me.

It had been happening all morning after we sheared that intimate moment, he'd say his usual "humans are pathetic" but now he would then look at me with a small sheepish smile as if to say 'well not you', which was sweet but it did feel like he was paying more of a conscious consideration towards me now knowing my past, as if even someone like him who distained humans wouldn't make light of something such as that.

"oh and she left me this letter" Jack had handed over a sealed envelope with a raven outlined on one side "I completely forgot about it after seeing you collapsed yesterday"

"well lets have a look at it then I guess" it was a bit strange, the envolpe opened to be the letter itself as if whoever wrote it folded it to become its own container "do you really want me to read it" I asked him but was only met with silance, normally Lucas would be behind me trying to read anything like a letter but I sent him off to school today and stayed home as I still wasn't feeling all that well after my run in with the now dead old naibour.

Hello Again Mr Reaper,

As you may have figured out I am someone similar to you, though unlike you I still possess my Reaper abilities and as such can help you with what you struggle with.

Come to the Dark Raven at the end of the darkest ally on the full moon, you'll find it when the time is right and I shall be waiting eagerly for your arrival,

P.s don't sleep with the human it's cruel to have them become attached to you when you'll have a immortal life

Warmest regards Ms Leos.

"we'll that was quite a bit" I started, re-reading the line where she said to not have sex with the human "does she-"

Jack ripped the letter from my hand and looked it up and down "when I'll have an immortal life" he muttered "can she get me my powers back?" Jack looked to me, he looked very happy to have this new hope to go back to his old self "I can be a reaper again"

"so you're gonna go look for her" my words sounded sad, why, I haven't known him long a few days at most and I'm still barely understanding any of this, but even though it's only been days he understands more about me than any other, and doesn't give me a pittied look, just the one where he sees me as me and not like how he sees others, if he went back to his old self would he leave.

"yeah, if I can get my powers back I can actually do something rather than just struggle like a human" he didn't give me the look, his excitement must be engulfing him as he ponders the letter "whens the next full moon"

I didn't know when it was, but with a quick search online it was easy to find out that the next full moon was a month away as the full moon had just passed, this did put a bit of a damper on Jack's mood, but it did raise mine a bit, I at least got some more time with him.

This Book will update every Monday

Sam has lived a quiet life. As quiet as Sam can expect it to be as he cares for his younger brother despite only being 18 years old, He works, cooks and sleeps. He repeats it every day and has done so for the past five years yet he hopes for more, craves it and before the incident, he lived that exciting life and when that almost killed him, he gave it up and decided to live just for his brother.

But that all changes when a phone call takes him to a park he’s dreaded going back to for years; a pond that’s been frozen over in summer and a pale boy with red eyes that remind him of loss. Sam’s life gets that bit more exciting as he delves into the darker truths of his world and the role he plays in it.
