As all of you most likely know, I adore Monster High. I have been a fan since I was like, four. I have always loved the dark but cute and feminine style of the dolls because it was different and more daring than Barbie or Bratz. But by the time my mum found out I was crazy for MH, they were already becoming harder and harder to find. However, recently I received the Draculaura G3 doll, and I personally like the design! The plus-size model is cute, though it is sort of weird that her hips do not lie... I mean, I've heard of all thumbs, but when have you heard of all hips? But now we get into the designs I hate... For example, Clawdeen, Lagoona Pink, and Ghoulia. Not even getting into the ethnicity/race changes, some of the designs are awful!

THE DESIGNS

Ghoulia's sunglasses make her eyes look super far apart, and removing her glasses? Might as well rename and rebrand her. And it's funny that all of us are mad that Ghoulia isn't a nerd anymore, and Clawdeen is a nerd. They made her the brainy, nerdy skateboarder when she is supposed to be the intelligent, fierce, fashion baddie. Her first line in the trailer for the G3 musical is "Oh no, I'm late for school!". Hell no! She isn't the nerdy Tony Hawk of the school. Now, I'm not saying being nerdy is a bad thing. Why do you think I love Ghoulia? Hell, the reason I'm so frustrated with this situation is because I'm a nerd. But they essentially swapped Clawdeen and Ghoulia's personalities and gimmicks. And now, onto Drac's design. I don't honestly think it's that bad! It sort of has hints of Japanese street fashion, which isn't bad when it comes to Draculaura. I say that because if you are a mega nerd like me, you would know she spent time in Japan as a foreign exchange student. So I don't see much wrong with her design, except for her hips and hair. It's just sad that her style has gone so... mainstream. Alternative, but still. Now, onto Frankie. I personally don't hate their design, but I don't like it. It is passable, and nothing more. My opinion of their design is the same as Cleo's. The biggest problems I have with Cleo's design are that her new clothes, hair, and makeup make her look like Nefera, she doesn't have her rich voice and regal accent, and she and Deuce are broken up. What the hell, Mattel? The rhyming is not intentional, but why ship Deuce with Clawdeen, of all people? And Clawd and Draculaura aren't a thing either.

PLEASE KILL ME

This isn't Monster High anymore, it's something else! It's been made so cute that it's essentially in the same category as Hello Neighbor, Among Us, or Five Nights At Freddy's. Now, hear me out. All of the games I just mentioned originally had an audience of teens and adults, but after catching attention on Youtube and other platforms, were dumbed down for even younger audiences than that. Because of that the adults lost interest in those games. And the reason why? Because they were cutified! Those games became a marketable joke, with too many kids for it to be scary. Same with Monster High! It was made more "progressive" and "cute" so it could be more marketable to Gen Z and younger kids. The ethnicity and race changes, the design changes, personality changes, it's been made so that all of the ghouls look like influencers. Even my mom is mad at Mattel for this! Whenever I told her about all this, her reaction was essentially "What in the?". Even my dad said, "Did... did you watch the show?". My dad doesn't even know as much as my mum who knows less than me, and even he knew enough to decide this is crappy. Anyways, if I keep writing, I'm gonna reach 15,000 characters. So... Yeah. See y'all later, I'm gonna go clense my palate by playing Monster High: Ghoul Spirit on the Wii.

I'm so sorry, guys. I didn't intend to write 3,728 characters of ranting. I meant to make it more educational like the other entries in this series, but whatever.
