Fear and Desire

Chapter Eleven

Chapter Eleven

Jul 01, 2023

Emerson experienced pure bliss throughout the week, reaching cloud nine and remaining unaffected by anyone's actions, even his father's hurtful remarks, seemed as though they had lost their powers over him.
For the first time in a long while, Emerson felt true happiness, it was almost surreal. He would occasionally sneak away from home to meet William, a risky endeavor that screamed danger. However, Emerson didn't mind.
Emma's relentless attacks continued as she silently approached him, glaring and asking questions that Emerson wasn't prepared to admit the answers to, not even to himself. He had grown accustomed to her presence, unable to comprehend why William would be friends with her.
Despite the rapid pace at which everything was happening between William and him, Emerson disregarded the voices screaming at him. He cherished the way he felt when he was with William and decided not to deny himself such emotions. He assured himself that it was only temporary, a fleeting connection with William, but as the week progressed, Emerson quickly forgot about that notion.
The living room reverberated with laughter as everyone savored snacks and drinks, while the sound of gunfire from their video games echoed through the house. Emerson’s friends—Jeremy, Nicholas, and Mason—were present, along side Benjamin and Elvis who lounged lazily on the couch.
They were all deeply invested in trying to keep their various avatars alive when suddenly, Emerson’s phone buzzed, prompting him to abandon his gaming and retrieve it from his pocket. Oblivious to the attention he was receiving, he laughed at a text from William. Emerson had confronted William wanting to know why he left so suddenly after what had transpired between them, William having quickly assured him that it wasn’t Emerson’s fault, though he was embarrassed. Emerson found their conversation amusing as he had never seen someone blush so intensely and persistently. Despite Emerson’s curiosity, William remained tight-lipped about the reason behind his embarrassment.
Emerson looked up in time to see Mason’s Avatar fire his gun towards Ben’s.
“Hey!” Ben yelled “What was that for?”
“How many times do I have to tell you to watch who you shoot at. You keep killing off our men.”
“Go easy on the kid.” Jeremy cuts in, throwing a piece of chip into his mouth, munching obnoxiously.
“I’m not a kid.” Benjamin mumbled, slumping on the sofa. He glared at Mason.
“Says the kid.” Mason chuckled mischievously, playfully throwing chips in Benjamin’s direction. “That glare is not going to change the fact that you’re a kid Ben.”
“I’m sixteen!, not a kid.”
Elvis rose from his spot next to Benjamin and vanished into the kitchen. Benjamin let out a frustrated sigh, feeling on the verge of exploding, and then turned to face Emerson.
“Emerson!, tell them!”
“What?” Emerson lifted his gaze from his phone, a look of perplexity etched across his face.
“Tell who what?”
“Ugh.” Benjamin groaned.
“You are not even listening”.
“Sorry.” Emerson mouthed to him. His phone buzzed again.
“Who are you even talking to?” Mason inquired, leaning closer to catch a glimpse of Emerson’s phone, but Emerson swiftly powered it down and concealed it in his pocket.
“No one”, Emerson lied.
Mason fixed a scrutinizing gaze upon him. “No one?” before Emerson could respond, Nicholas spoke up, preempting his reply.
“Come on, give us some gossip. Finally scored yourself a chick?”
“Who scored a chick?” Elvis emerged from the kitchen, carrying multiple bottles of beer in his hands.
“Emerson.” Jeremy supplied, pointing at Emerson. “He wouldn’t tell us who”.
“Really!” Elvis chirped. Placing down the beer cans on the center table, “Why is that?” Elvis smiled at Emerson. “Go on, tell us who it is.” Emerson remained skeptical of his pretense, easily detecting the true intentions behind his smile.
“Seriously, being on my phone doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve been talkin–”. His dishonesty was abruptly interrupted as his phone began to ring.
Emerson squeezed his eyes shut, William couldn’t have any much better timing. “Dude, aren’t you gonna answer that?”, the anger clear in Mason’s voice.
“Guys leave him alone, if he says he isn’t talking to anyone, then he probably isn’t, besides, who he talks to is none of our concern.” Benjamin declared.
“Is it Emma? because I remember giving her your number.” Mason voiced, totally ignoring Benjamin’s words.
“Why would you even do that?” Emerson questioned Mason.
“What do you mean, I only did that cause you kept staring at her.”
Emerson release a heavy sigh. “I’ve told you countless times I'm not interested in Emma.”
Mason regarded him with a suspicious squint. “Then who was it? Cause Emma is clearly the only girl among that group of friends you so passionately get lost it.” With each word he uttered, Mason's voice grew angrier. A sudden tension filled the room as everyone’s gaze shifted from Emerson to Mason, attempting to grasp the situation.
“Hey, Mason…” Nicholas tugged on Mason’s arm. “Cool it off, it’s no big deal who he was staring at, or if he actually was, right?” The final segment of his question was directed towards Emerson.
Emerson couldn't fathom why Mason was growing increasingly angry about the issue. His eyes shifted from his best friend's expression of anger to the smug look on Elvis' face. “Forget it.” Emerson let out another sigh and slumped against the couch, staring blankly at the paused screen.
At that moment, Emerson’s phone rang once more. Without even glancing at it, He could already tell it was William on the other end. “I’ve gotta take this.” He said, standing up from the couch and heading for his room. Not waiting on the response of his friends.
“Hello.” he muttered, running his hand through his hair.
“What’s wrong?” William voice called out. He must have heard the slight discomfort in Emerson’s voice “Wrong time?”
Emerson closed the door behind him letting out a deep sigh and settled into his chair.
“Not really.” “Just my brother being his annoying self.” Emerson did not want to think or even talk about the unsettling behavior Mason was putting up, so he settled for Elvis.
“Benjamin?”
“No, Ben’s an angel, the other one…” Emerson hummed. “Let just say we don’t get along.” Emerson was puzzled by how effortlessly he could discuss Elvis with William, given that he had never previously discussed his brother to anyone.
“Is it bad?”
“You can’t imagine.”
“I wish I could make you feel better.”
“How would you make me feel better?”
“I don’t know.” There was a pause, “A kiss maybe.” William said.
“I don’t think a kiss would cheer me up.” Contrary to his words, Emerson couldn’t help but smile. While William may have appeared as a sweet and innocent boy on the surface, he possessed a flirtatious nature deep within, capable of uttering precisely the words that could unsettle Emerson’s stomach.
“Are you certain? I’m really good at kissing.” Emerson breathed slowly, he was getting turned on by the thought of just kissing William.
“Really?” Emerson decides to tease, I can’t say I've seen it.” He could clearly heard William’s light laughter over the phone. Emerson spread out his knees, a smile formed on his lips.
“Guess I just have to top up my game, When next I see you, I’m going to make sure I kiss you until you’re grasping for breath.”
Emerson felt a sudden twitch in his pants, so he spared a glance at himself seeing his bulge, he placed his hand over it rubbing himself through his pants. Succumbing to the urge, Emerson turned on the speaker and placed his phone on his study desk. “Go on.” Prompting William, he quickly unfastened his belt.
“I want to ravish you.” William said. Emerson hands moved slowly on his member, he took a deep breath to calm his ranging heart. “Biting and sucking on those sensitive nipples.”
Emerson squeezed his member so tight it became painful.
Emerson’s mind lingered on his recent meeting with William, recalling how William had skillfully used his mouth to bring him pleasure. His hand moved faster. Precum making his movement easier.
Emerson's head jerked back, his eyes squeezed shut as he envisioned William engaging in those actions with him. “A-and?” it was a wonder Emerson’s voice still worked.
“Then…” there was a long pause follow by William murmuring curse words on the other end of the phone.. “I’m going to flip you on your stomach, I would so love to see your face while I thrust–”
Emerson’s stomach tighten. “William…” he cried in a moan, he couldn’t believe he was about to cum to the thought of having sex with William.
With an unsettling creak, the doorknob of Emerson’s room was slowly twisted, and to his horror, the door ominously cracked open.
