DON’T PLAY HIS GAME BRUCE 😫 But also dang what a curveball, I think I expected anything from Joe being legitimately penitent to Bruce just being unable to take his vengeance that far, possibly now seeing Joe as another victim he’d have to save from the Penguin even if he can’t forgive him—but OOH Joe just actually being the proud assassin of the Waynes?? 🤯 (Also that royal flush line was.. so cold and also so damn cool Ugh UGH)
So worried for these boys, and I love how legitimately threatening you’ve managed to make one of the villains from Bat’s rogues gallery who doesn’t necessarily USUALLY seem like he could pose a threat to both Bats AND Supes… (I love how perceptive and smooth he is though fr fr please don’t make me hornt up for Penguin 🫣)

Justice Beach: a Superbat fancomic set in a Coast Guard AU!
While hunting for the Penguin as Batman, Bruce Wayne makes his way to Justice Beach, a sleepy little coastal California town. Little does he know the Coast Guard he's using as his cover is home to members of a mini-Justice League, consisting of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Superman. As his pursuit of the Penguin becomes more dangerous, Bruce also finds himself in a growing relationship with another member of the Coast Guard - and Superman himself - Clark Kent.
All characters belong to DC (except for Ollie, Joel, and the goons - no one truly owns goons). Updates weekly on Wednesdays.
This comic is rated PG-13… expect blood, violence, attempted murders/successful murders… y’know, content you might find in superhero things.
As a head’s up, Episodes 2-4 were done first and formatted slightly differently. The Prologue and Episode 5 onwards are formatted for scrolling webcomics. :)
