After crying for another eight hours, I finally had the strength to get up. I quietly snuck to the joint bathroom being extra sneaky so that I did not encounter any she-devils along the way. Luckily it seemed that Tommy and the devils left to do whatever they were doing so I had the entire apartment to myself. Perfect, just the way I liked it. 

I took a long shower, scrubbing my hair and body clean. After so many days of crying, the warm water felt nice against my body. Getting out of the shower, I looked in the mirror. My eyes were still puffy, but at least my hair was washed. I sighed as I got dressed into a pair of new pajamas and walked out of the bathroom.

Returning to my room, I blasted music as loud as I could while I booted up my laptop. It was about the time of day that everyone would be online. I was a part of a group chat called AppleCiderWrites Fans. We tried shortening it to ACWF but it was too hard to say, so we now call ourselves ACdoubleF. There are four of us in the chat and I consider them to be my best friends.

I think I gravitated towards them in particular because they are a bunch of people with too much time on their hands just like me. They were the recluses of the world and we could relate to one another more than anyone else can.

The first member of the group is 2TrollsinaHottub who makes the best and funniest memes from ACW works that I have ever seen! They are 35 and have been around in the online community for decades. Some of their memes are a little outdated but they make me laugh so hard that my sides hurt.

Next is Pomme_Art_Farts who is a fan artist who makes fan art of ACW works. Her artwork is absolutely topnotch. Her OTP work Love Bites is out of this world. She is the most mysterious though and I don’t really know anything about her personal life besides that she is a college student.

The final member is Peach.Schnapps who writes fanfic and is probably my biggest inspiration of the group. I wish I was able to write like she does. Her whole thing is about making fanfics about minor ACW characters that have little-to-no backstory. She literally makes NPC fanfic and does it well. She is also in her 30s and lives in Chicago with her wife and four cats. Out of all of them, she is my absolute favorite.

Peach.Schnapps: OMG xVladxCharlie4Ever where have you been?!?!? 

xVladxCharlie4Ever: I'm SORRY…. I've been crying my eyes out… I don’t think I have any more liquid left in my body. I am so sad.

Peach.Schnapps: Srsly? Why didn’t you come on sooner? We could have talked it out.

I couldn’t help but laugh at the meme but it also hits way too close to home right now. I couldn’t handle the emotional turmoil.

Pomme_Art_Farts: Don’t worry VC4 I also cried a lot… The girls in my dorm thought I was dying or something.

Troll was annoying sometimes but I know that they were just trying to make me laugh. Honestly, their memes were making me feel better. Dark humor was always funny to me.

Peach.Schnapps: At least ACW finished her last story and OMG the witch Gilda is perfect writing material! I’ll have writing material for at least the next month.

Gilda was a witch side character that was introduced in AppleCider’s last story. She was only in two chapters, but her story arc made a huge impact with fans. I honestly couldn’t wait until Peach published her fanfic so that I would at least have something to read.

Peach.Schnapps: You could always review my fanfics VC4…

It was true. I could review Peach’s fan work but I just don’t think it would be the same. ACW just writes characters that are so relatable to me. I love Peach but most of the characters she writes about are lesbians. I love her work, but I just can’t relate to it like I can the original works and I don’t think I would be able to review them well enough to give justice to her writing.

That was weird. Pomme usually doesn’t give personal information out so readily and in a single conversation I learned that she lives in a dorm and has a boyfriend. Usually she only talks about art or ACW.

I’m not jealous… I say to myself. Nope, totally not jealous. I am just waiting for my soulmate to finally realize that we are soulmates. That’s all. The group message pinged as if they were reading my mind.

Peach.Schnapps: Don’t listen to him Pomme. He is just jealous 

Okay maybe I am jealous… But it’s not my fault that the guy that I like is such a dunce and doesn’t realize that we are meant to be together. I mean sure he is straight, but still. Stupid him.

Both Peach and I sent the same message at the same exact time. I couldn’t help but laugh at the different meanings behind our messages. I am glad to at least have these three as friends. They get me and know how to make me feel better.

With that I closed my laptop and launched myself into bed. Before I know it, I am already deep in sleep. I dream about the worlds that AppleCidar has created, wishing above anything that I could be part of that world.
