It is the day of 'Heart Rescuer' movie premier in San Angelica where it is the center of the world for movies and music. Where artistic people that involve in the production of such flock and create. It is also a place where glamorous live of those artistic people who managed to stay on top either with pure talent, or with grit or with deceit. A place that I had learn to accept everything yet still try to persue in my own belief. 

It is not easy. To filter out the greed and lies. Anything that seems easy to roll in the name of fame and the peak of stardom. Maybe my many cycle of reincarnation sharpen my eyes in determining such people or that also my strict discipline to reject cheap temptations. 

Living many different kind of lives sure does teach me what it means to easily fall from grace. Especially when you're a person with big influence and interest to masses. 

But there are also people I met are full of passion and determination that places dignity and their work as their priority. Such people are my friends that I feel grateful ever meeting them. 

"Who should step out first?"

Inside a luxury limosine, the four of us are busy discussing the matter of whom to step out first. 

"Since Wren is the main lead, he has to be the last one," said Ricky, a newly rising actor full of boyish charm. 

Jessica nodded in agreement. While Gary smirked at me. His right hand is holding a glass of sparkling drink and his left hand is hugging my shoulders. 

"Then should I get out first?" Jessica volunteered which quickly dismissed by us gentlemens. She is among the rising actress though she had been in the industry for almost 5 years, it seems this year her name finally be getting the recognition that she deserves.

"I'll be the one to get out first," Gary said confidently. "I'm escorting you kids."

"Still you're the most senior among us, Gary. I'll be the first one," Ricky said nervously. 

I laughed a little. "It's okay. Gary will go out first. Then, you. Followed by Jessica and lastly, me."

"Oh." Gary looked at me with disbelief. Then he laughed out loud. His drink was placed at the table and he held his stomach. "You cheeky little chick," he said.

I grinned at him. Having a relationship for almost 20 years now, I am somewhat bold and brave whenever Gary is involve. Well, I know his personality well that I quickly decide for all of us. 

As we all agreed, Gary stepped out first looking regal and handsome. A loud cheer and scream calling out his name was heard. There was also something about asking to be stepped?

Then Ricky stepped out. He shoved his nervousness after exhaling for several times and straighten his back. A cheer was also heard though not as loud as Gary since Ricky is still new.

"Meet you outside," Jessica said before stepping out with the assistance of Gary's and Ricky's hand at the door of limousine. Jessica who dressed in red satin midi dress and her hair was braided neatly, comfortable enough for a movie premier night received the loudest cheer than Gary and Ricky combined. 

Not wasting time, I made my entrace too and as expected the cheer I heard was defeaning but I like it all the same. I waved my hands at the fan who cheered for me then proceeded to where the three of them wwaiting for me. 

We walked to the photo zoned while greeting a few fans and amateur reporters that seems to belong to UTB hosting channel and other popular SNS apps that can host live channel. 

A few snapped picture left right and middle, we proceeded to the agreed hosts tv channels. Ricky will be with Gary since this is his first commercial movie premier, Jessica and me will conduct individually.

"Hi Zee!" I greeted first at the familiar face. 

"Wren! Oh my, congratulations!" she said and hugged me. "This is the first time I see you this year!"

I laughed shyly. "I took a rest for a year."

"It's okay! As long you came back! By the way congrats for 20th debut anniversary."

"Thank you."

"Any plans to celebrate?"

"Of course. There'll be a lot, so I hope fans stay tuned," I said and looked at the camera. I made a cute heart by cupping my hands to my cheeks and closed eyes.

Reporter Zee exclaimed at the cute appearance. "Ahh! Please my heart!"

I cover my face shyly and laughed. 

"If I'm not mistaken, it also marks 20 years your friendship with Gary, isn't it? Eh, where is he?"

We both searched for Gary who is still held behind by reporters with Ricky. It was part of ways to make Ricky feels less nervous when partnered with Gary. It is also part of marketing strategy for the movie since Ricky and Gary has familiar connection in the movie.

A bright smile bloomed on my face looking at Gary's relax face encouraging Ricky to answer a reporter question. The boy eyes seemed to be confused and overwhelmed by the reaction of fans and reporters.

"Haha, yes. I still remember the first time I met Gary on drama set years ago and now nearing 20th aniversary... we still making works together... There's no bigger honour and sense of achievement could replace this. Brother Gary, I love you."

"Awww, what can you say about 'Heart Rescuer'? I heard it's a coming of age movie."

"Yes, it is coming of age story of high school graduate named Dylan Griffin which through a series of events he decided to become a part of fire fighter team. I hope you enjoy the story at cinema to know more of his story."

"Of course. Of course. I heard the production company want to run for Millain Awards. Any possibilities to be nominated?"

Millain Awards is a season where films and it's production house are recognize and awarded after a few rounds of voting choose by it's member. It is the highest recognition that any film maker could want. Though the controversy surrounding the voting sometimes can be very...

Well, I have received it twice before. One for when I was 10 years old as a supporting actor award for <Passerby> and another when I was 17 years old for best actor for <Among Clouds Where Rain Waits>.

I gave Reporter Zee a teasing look. "I'll be glad if we're nominated. I just recently received it 5 years ago. But, I do hope the production house and our director receives it. Our director vision is something to be recognized."

"True, but you really don't want your third award? Knowing you, and the story you told me just now it won't be just nomination."

"Hi!" Jessica popped out of nowhere. "So many fans came to cheer us!"

Thankfully, Jessica came to save in her usual cheerful way. I almost at loss of words at Reporter Zee questioning glare and somewhat almost boastful remarks. Sure, it is nice to have such confidence but I would love to stay humble and cheer for other actors as well. Remembering this year film that came out, I could feel the tensed competition. If I'm not careful enough, today's words could come bite me. 

I watched Reporter Zee interviewing Jessica and I insticntively put my hand behind her and pat her lightly as way to say thanks. She also slipped her hand behind me and did the same. A small smile bloomed on my face.

A week passed. 

In a practice room of Loft Entertainment, I am busy replying to my close friends group messages. These kids are the one that I met and form relationship since we were 13 and learn together at School of performing and fine arts. It was a school that my aunt used to go too.

It's a fan meeting tour to four major cities every each week including a pop up cafe featuring sweets that I favoured for the 23 years of my life. I had asked my team to arrange schedule for me and my friends who will be participating my fan meetings for a special play and also a guerilla meeting a the pop up cafe. 

I had been making plans and setting up the workflow of performance that I wanted to do together with my friends since 6 months ago since some of them are will be involved with drama shooting, film shooting and entertainment program though he had been reserving them for a year.

> Danny : Still can't brain that we're celebrating your 20th anniv debut.

> Peter : Right? I always feel that you're somekind of an old man with long list of achievement.

> Peter : Like a kung fu master kinda feeling.

The HAHA letter with rolling laugh emoji keep on appearing on my screen. Yet, I smiled happily at our interaction. Friends that doesn't shy away to tease me but still helps when I asked for it even when they are super busy with their own career as an actor.

> Jeanny : poor Wren. It's okay and thanks! See you tomorrow.

> Peter : Oh the busiest person is here. Henry?

> Jeanny : Henry is wrapping up his last shoot. I just finished mine. 

> Alli : Wooo, the cutest couple of the year! (fireworks emoji)

> Peter : Tuing, tuing (dewy eyes sticker)

Then another barrage of HAHA poured in as their victim of teasing changed to Jean and Henry since they appearing together as leads on a youth drama. It has become a super resourceful item since the released of episode 10 last two days ago where the two leads finally confessing their feelings for each other after so many trials and misunderstanding.

A doorbell sound was heard amidst a very fiery banter happening inside the group chat.

I looked up and saw Adam; my manager since 19 years ago, coming in halfway into the practice rooma and halfway still outside. As if he was guilty for interupting my practice session.

"Yes, brother?"

"Um Ziegler just drop the script for part 3 and part 4. Do you want to read it now?"

At the mention of Ziegler's name, my eyes became round and the anticipitation for the upcoming last two parts of the supposed trilogy movie he had done since he was 14. It took Ziegler a long time to complete the series as he referenced it from a popular YA SF novel that he admired and wanted to make it right. 

I nodded enthusiatically at Adam question. "Is it in your hands?"

Adam looked hesitated. "Have you rested well?"

I knew what he meant by that. I just got back from San Angelica of 15 hours flight back home and I'm already in practice room. "I wouldn't be here if I don't brother. Mommy really serious now in making sure that I am well fed and properly slept."

"Ok..." Adam let out a relieved sigh. 

I giggled a little at Adam reaction. Since my sudden decision to start working again ahead of my 20th aniversary debut after announcing a break a year and a half ago, he must have thought that I was pressed by 'no working schedule dilemma'. 

It does feels weird at first. I have been working nonstop since I was 3 years old and having a proper agency that manages my incoming work and promotion after the success of <My Happy Life>. 

It was auntie that introduced CEO Lucas Morgan of Loft Entertainment to me. She said that Lucas is her friend back from when they were in Performing Arts school. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard that he was auntie's friend.

But I saw a white fluffy dendilion floating on top of Lucas's head yet not convincing enough for me. 

Turns out his one and only artist got snatch away by other agency, and he was on the verge of failing his business due to backstabbing partner. All the more reason for me to wary off especially he does not have keen eyes in selecting people to trust. 

My auntie on the other hand was aloof. She doesn't say much on that meeting and leave it entirely on my parents and my decision. She just doing this one as a return of a favor, she said.

Meanwhile my parents were like headless chicken. Both of them are 9-5 job kind of people with zero knowledge on entertainment industry which the only person they can rely on is my auntie and word-of-mouth. The later was in absolute sense, the worst kind of place to blindly trust.

So I took the matter on my own hands. Well, little hands as I am at that time a 4 years old.

"Uncle," I said as I called him when my teacher at daycare was a little bit distracted. 

"Y- yes?" he answered nervously.

"How many is your debt?" I asked in a very childlike manner. As innocent as a lamb.

"Um..." He paused. Wondering if he should talk about this kind of thing with me. "About 50 Million..."

I closed my eyes in disbelief. That's a lot of money and my tiny hands can't even count it properly. If he were to sign a contract with me, I could lend him the money. My acting fee per episode was closed to millions but I can't just lent it like that. 

"Then, I'll sign with you..." I paused a bit to make things a little suspense. "I'll sign only if uncle can get at least 25 million and a good script."

It isn't a bad counter offer right? I don't know at that time if he wants to believe me or not but I gave him a week the least. 

Well, the rest was a history. 

"Don't worry, brother. I'm at the top of my game after that break. Can you give the part 3 first? I assume they are gonna shoot part 4 immediately after part 3, right?"

A vibrate on my phone.

"Yes, according to the rep because the last book has a lot to cover, they split it into two part which might be 1 and half hour screen time each. They'll start after Monica finish up her film shooting and your fan meeting tour too. But they say they open up the training center early to practice for action scene."

I nodded and calculated the approximate start of shooting days. "But brother..."

"Yes?"

"Why are you here? What about brother Nelson?"

...

"Brother, I do love it when you do things like this but you're the head of department now. Please trust brother Nelson," I nagged him while reading the synopsis for part 3. My phone vibrated again probably from my friends group chat notification.

"No. No. I trust Nelson. It's because of Ziegler's email and I want to check up on you. That's all." Adam tried very hard to plead his innocent. "Also, your team finally able to recover that writer's post."

I stopped in my track. Recently my fan cafe site posting was being upgraded and while everything looked a lot more de-clutter and user friendly, a certain post from a fan went missing.

"They'll sent the link when the site is ready to run again."

I gave the script back to Adam and fished out my phone from my training pants pocket. The many notification was from the fan cafe app. I log into my account and check my inbox. There, I saw the link that the team sent me.

I click the link and the familiar post displayed on my screen. 

It was the post from 'Max Lvl 9'.
