“Dear passengers, we have arrived in Miralen. If it is your stop, please take all your bags with you. Make sure you have everything because we do not return any lost items. You have 10 minutes until we head to our next destination, announced the captain in his tired, bored voice while lazily leaning on his crab arm.“
Sasha, Lysandra, Manta and Merlin, of course, tried to go through the crowd as fast as possible but the boat was packed with people. After a good five minutes of being pushed around and saying sorry over and over again, they finally met a deckhand, literally a hand, that showed them the direction to take. They were finally in Miralen. The pebble beach that they ended up on was vacant. Sasha guessed that it wasn't a very popular stop, but the lack of people sure made it more enjoyable. They had the nicest view of the sea and the forest ahead of them.
“Follow me, ordered the angel. My friend said that he would wait for us over there. He has probably been waiting for us for a while now.“
Sasha and her friends followed Lysandra that was looking around for her friend. She finally came to a halt and pointed at a young guy in the distance.
“ I think it might be him, the angel said while trying to block the sun from getting in her pale eyes. Come, we will join him. “
Lysandra caught his attention by waving her arms around above her head. He noticed her and started to walk towards us, waving his hand at them. the guy was an elf and looked like a young adult, not at all an OLD friend like Lysandra said before. He was thin but was still a little muscular but not too much, tall. He was wearing his light chestnut hair in a long braid. He also had pointy ears that pointed downwards and small round glasses.
“Hello! It's been a while, Lysa, he said while shaking her hand eagerly. So, who did you bring with you?“
“First, we have Sasha then Manta my friend Etomanian, she answered.“
“Well, ladies, I'm very pleased to meet you all, he said formally with an enthusiastic tone. I am named Elwyn. You are probably already aware that I will be your guide for the whole duration of your trip. “
“Elwyn, you don't have to act all formal, you know? They're only young girls, after all, Lysandra laughed. “
“Ah? Was that too much? Elwyn asked, unsure.“
The old friends started laughing wholeheartedly while Sasha and Manta were both as confused as to what was sooooo funny.
“Ah! I almost forgot! said the angel, I am sorry girls but I have a business to tend to before joining you for the trip. Don't make Elwyn regret his decision.“
“Okay, that's not scary at all! thanks. Elwyn replied, suddenly worried. He had a bad feeling, a feeling that the two girls were going to cause many hassles“
For the very first time, Sasha saw Lysandra's wings wide open, prepared to lift her in the air. She took off and lifted a huge cloud of dust while doing so. The group all watched as she was fading in the distance. Sasha had a feeling that maybe, just maybe the real reason that she was not accompanying them was because of their fight, and the thought of that alone made Sasha sad and ashamed of the way she spoke to her.
“I was also very fascinated the first time that I saw her fly, well, it wasn't as impressive when she was first learning it though. Did you know we have been friends since childhood? questioned Elwyn.“
“She never mentioned it. I've only been in Egea a couple of days, answered Sasha.“
“Yes of course. She told me a lot about you.“
“Really? Sasha said, confused.“ She knew nothing about this man, oops, elf, but he knew her.
“Yes. So, I carefully planned our trip so that we don't miss out on any worthy spot. First of all, I wanted to give you a tour of the forest and then go to the river down the cliff.“
Sasha and Manta looked at him, disoriented. Which river? Which cliff in which forest? Elwyn started laughing at their confusion.
“No worries. Follow me and everything will go as planned, he said to reassure them.“
Sasha is a very curious and stubbornly brave (or stupid) 13 years old girl. One day, she couldn't take it anymore. She was craving a new adventure, so she fled her adoptive mother looking for a more action-filled life. Guess what? Well, she found it! But maybe it wasn't exactly what she was expecting. She woke up, after a dramatic fall, in an unfamiliar, fantastic world called Egea where lives some of the most unexpected of creatures. Along the way, she meets a lot of interesting people(?) but also falls face-to-face with a very unfortunate series of events. Will she be able to make it back to her family? or will she find out that she belongs somewhere else...?
