She fell onto the boulder's surface, covering her head with her paws. She looked at what was before her, her vision hazy with hallucinations of what happened days prior. The mountains peaks, previously covered in snow, were now covered in blood. Her vest lay beside her in the snow, looking up at her with disappointment on its face. 

It bombarded her with questions she did not have the answers to, causing her to begin shaking. Had she known the man had a weapon, she would have stopped him. She tried explaining it to the vest, but it didn't believe her one bit.

She curled up into a ball, shaking and whining as she remembered how her carelessness resulted in the deaths of two officers. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to hyperventilate in the cold snow, pushing her tail between her legs. Her claws raked against her head, causing the blood on her pads to gush down her face, making everything rush back much faster than before. Suddenly, a rush of warmth pushed itself against her back. 

"Allow yourself to fully go through what is troubling you, young one. Trying to stop those thoughts will only cause them to push themselves onto you much more forcefully than they would have before."
