Like a dragon awakened from its slumber, the vortex of wind swirled violently and blew all the overcast clouds that covered the sky, sending sunlight shining on the gloomy village.
The villagers who were only looking at the space with their empty eyes turned towards the mansion. There was a slight tremor on the frozen smiles on their faces, for a split second their ghastly smiles turned sincere before turning back into frozen, meaningless smiles.
Even though Wangka Island seemed to be facing a whirlwind disaster centered on the mansion, the players in the middle were not aware of their surroundings. Their wide eyes were stunned by the figure standing in front of them. Their gaping mouths were wide open until saliva dripped out of it without them noticing.
The female figure in front of them could not be categorized as a human. Because the beauty that she had could not be possessed by humans. She was like a goddess with otherworldly beauty.
A beautiful crown was perched on her head. The crown had a green pearl in its middle which certainly added to its sacredness and beauty.
Her long black hair, flowing straight down her back, waved in the wind that carried it up and down. Her ears have unique earrings that are very beautiful and curved with a snake's head at the end.
Her beauty couldn't be described in words. Anyone who saw her would describe her with these same words "she was an Otherworldly Beauty". Her well-groomed eyebrows, pointed nose, and thin but natural red lips. Her closed eyes added to her elegance, in the eyes of the players, she was like a sleeping princess waiting for a prince's kiss.
(A/N: The Instructor's POV)
The princess opened her eyes, revealing snake-like eyes which took the players by surprise but their hands seemed stuck and didn't want to let go of this goddess's body. They wanted to keep touching her to convince themselves that what they were seeing was real.
Nyimas Dewi Anggatri felt strange things stuck to her body. She looked down to see what was happening, then her brow furrowed, her eyes trembled violently, and her body seemed to shiver. Then...
"How dare you touch my body with your filthy hands!!!!!"
*BAM!
Nyimas Dewi Anggatri's outburst of anger sent the players flying far away and rolling on the ground.
However, the anger of the goddess suddenly disappeared, she seemed to be surprised by something. She clenched her fists and opened them, her eyes widened but not from anger but shock, she was shocked because she discovered that her powers were sealed. She was supposed to be a Legend but she could only use the power of a Champion.
She lifted her head to the sky and saw the gray mist that covered the entire Village of Nyi Blorong. Nyimas Dewi Anggatri was furious, she jumped and flew until she was right in front of the gray mist.
Meanwhile, the players who woke up from their shock looked up at Nyimas Dewi Anggatri who was already flying high in the sky. They knew that this NPC would be different from the other NPCs.
"Is this a cut scene?" asked Rou.
"Cut scene your head! Look at our HP!" Guta shouted angrily.
[HP: 50/161]
Leona swallowed hard. She did not expect that the outburst of anger from Nyimas Dewi Anggatri could slash two-thirds of her blood.
Nyimas Dewi Anggatri looked at the gray mist with her snake-like eyes. Her hands suddenly turned into golden claws. Then with all her might, she hit the gray mist with her claws.
*BAMMMM!!!!
Like a mountain erupting, the entire Wangka Island shook violently. Nyimas Dewi Anggatri smiled as she was sure her attack could destroy the gray mist but after a while, her eyes widened. The gray mist remained and lingered in the air, still restricting her from leaving the village.
Nyimas Dewi Anggatri's body shook violently from annoyance and frustration. She had never felt these two things in her entire life, she could only take a deep breath and accept it.
She looked down and The Village of Nyi Blorong flashed in her yellow eyes. The villagers raised their heads and looked at her. For a moment their eyes seemed to glow before turning blank again.
"My village..." said Nyimas Dewi Anggatri sadly.
She looked towards the north, the gray mist there was thicker and it blocked her view. "My ships..." she said in a trembling voice.
Then she looked towards the south, to be precise the ocean between Wangka Island and Billiton Island. "My Queen..." "My Queen." this time she could no longer contain it. She flew swiftly towards the south and crashed into the gray mist that blocked her and anyone who aimed at it. "My Queen!!!" Nyimas Dewi Anggatri said while sobbing.
The seawater suddenly rippled, creating a vortex that seemed to be calming a child. Nyimas Dewi Anggatri wiped her tears, but her voice still sounded hoarse, "My Queen..." she said.
The seawater continued to ripple trying to calm her down, like a mother comforting her child. Nyimas Dewi Anggatri's sobs stopped, but this time anger could be seen in her eyes. No.. Not anger, but hatred, disappointment, and a hint of betrayal. She stared at Billiton Island with gritted teeth.
Billiton Island which is quite close looks like it is shrouded in gray mist which is much denser than the one in The Village of Nyi Blorong. The seawater rippled again, but this time, it sounded like it was scolding a child.
"My Queen!!" said Nyimas Dewi Anggatri, still staring at Billiton Island with anger. The seawater rippled louder, sounding as though it was defending someone, then softer ripples followed as if it was trying to persuade her.
Nyimas Dewi Anggatri took a long sigh, her eyes returning to the direction of the water ripples. She then turned her head towards the mansion to be precise at Leona and the other players. "My Queen?" Nyimas Dewi Anggatri was tongue-tied, she couldn't believe what she had just heard and wanted to make sure she had just received the right orders.
The seawater rippled again, affirming that what she heard was true. Nyimas Dewi Anggatri wanted to say something but stopped herself.
She kept repeatedly opening and closing her mouth like a koi fish. Showing a funny expression on her beautiful face. The rippling sea water calmed down, like a mother smiling at her child's silly behavior.
In the end, Nyimas Dewi Anggatri's shoulders dropped and she gave up on what she was going to say. She just nodded languidly and said, "Yes, My Queen" towards the ocean. Then she turned around and flew away with her feet stomping the air in annoyance.
The seawater was calm and wavy as usual.
------
Leona and the other players got up and patted their dusty clothes. They didn't feel any pain because of how quickly their bodies took the damage. And it seemed that the pain they felt was just the aftershock from the damage, their bodies no longer felt the pain from the scars.
They didn't know where Nyimas Dewi Anggatri had flown to but for some reason, they no longer wanted to meet that terrible woman. Leona herself as a woman felt that Nyimas Dewi Anggatri was a crazy woman whose emotions could quickly change. She felt that such people should be shunned before they easily put you in trouble.
Leona felt that this was what Hendra thought every time he saw a human.
It wasn't long before the other players entered the courtyard of the mansion. They were very few. Leona didn't know how many beta testers were participating in this beta version but the number of players gathered in the courtyard of the mansion was currently 30. And it looked like no other players would come, including the players who had previously died on various fields.
This made them think of various theories about death in Percha Island Online. It was likely that there was a long period for players to revive after they died.
Maybe this was a way for developers to avoid players who use human wave tactics to fight strong bosses.
Like the previous group of players, there was still suspicion and misgivings between the players, but once again Leona managed to create a pleasant atmosphere and they ended up sharing information with each other.
The more information they got, the more terrifying this starting village appeared. Apart from the basilisks and wraiths they already knew about, they also got to know that there were several other terrible monsters in the village. Like the cyclops in the Bamboo field, the slenderman in the Inn Field, and the treants in the Market Field.
While they were busy discussing how difficult Percha Island Online was, suddenly there was a gust of wind that hit them and the players had to cover their eyes with their hands. When the wind had stopped Nyimas Dewi Anggatri was already standing in front of them and looking at them with obvious disdain.
"My name is Nyimas Dewi Anggatri, you can call me Nyimas or Instructor, it's up to you. However, I will not accept being called other names apart from those two.
"I give thanks to the foreign warriors who released me from the statues that imprisoned me. As a thank you I will train you to become strong warriors" The Instructor said in a flat tone like she was reading a text in front of her eyes. Her face was getting irritated showing that she couldn't wait for all of this to end.
All the players were silent and stunned to see Goddess who had a human-like expression. They thought that Doodle really took up a lot of data space to make NPCs like The Instructor.
"The first thing you should do is choose a weapon that fits your body." The Instructor waved one hand and a dazzling golden light flashed before the players' eyes. When the light subsided they saw a magnificent building appear in front of them.
"Please come in and choose your weapons. Remember you can only choose one weapon! If you want to exchange your weapons later, please meet me again and of course, for your second weapon, I will not give it to you for free. Therefore choose your weapons carefully"
