Hey y'all, I'm gonna have my regular update on Friday, but I wanted to add a little trigger warning ahead of time (I will add one to the chapter as well). We're getting into some very heavy subject matter in the story. We will also be taking a closer look at Mal's past in particular in these next few chapters. I write as I go, as many of you know, and many of my character's experiences are based on some of the things I've gone through in my own life. Obviously, details have been changed and elements have been dramaticized to fit the story. I always want to place a heavy emphasis on healing and getting better. The things we endure as human beings are devastating, and if I can give anyone a little hope or help anyone to feel seen, I want to. That's always been my intention, and I hope if any of you are going through a hard time, you know that help is not impossible. Getting to a better point is not impossible. You are loved. You are cared about, and you deserve good things. Take care.
Displaced. Untrusting. Angry. Misunderstood. Moses has nothing and no one to turn to. When his mother kicks him out of the house after discovering his sexuality, he goes to live with his estranged father, who has more than a few surprises in store for him. What's more, there's a boy his age living with them. What does fate have in store for Moses? Will things finally look up for him after all these years?
This series will be updated on a biweekly basis every other Friday.
CW: this novel contains A LOT of heavy themes, including trauma, mental health, ptsd, self-harm and EDs.
