Ark continent was divided into four areas by the giant mountain ranges with the Great Forest in the middle. These four areas were occupied by four nations and each area has unique characteristics. These nations were Whiteland, Adonba, Gloria and Rogsand.
The land in the North was governed by Whiteland. Despite the endless snowfield and many mountains, this land was blessed by minerals and mana stones which gave Whiteland a lot of power in negotiation and trading with other countries. With the invention of Warm beacons using mana stone, people here could do agriculture and built towns in the middle of snowfields. These towns were like the resting spots and guiding signs for traveling caravans that ventured through the snowfield.
The capital of the Whiteland was Snowgem, the big city in the center of the snowfield. It was so big that travelers wouldn’t get lost in the snowfield at night as long as they walked toward the column of light that shot into the sky.
And the cause of that light was inside the castle in the middle of Snowgem, the original Warm beacon that used the ginormous mana stone as its power source. And this mana stone wasn’t just big, it was also gorgeous which gave this city the name of Snowgem.
Standing on the balcony of Snowgem's room was the young man with golden hair and crystal blue irises. His well built body was covered by white military outfit and a black cloak with a royalty badge on his chest. This was the current king of Whiteland, Malvis von Snowgem. He was just fifteen years old when he was given this position, but now he was twenty. These five years of struggling in power and politics gave him more insight into the world. But it didn’t give him happiness or rather it took his only happiness away.
“You were always with me during my lowest, why can’t you be here when I’m at my highest. Sinclair…”
Today was the day Sinclair was gone, it had been two years since the incident but he still couldn’t find the culprit behind the assassination of his dear queen. And he refused to remarry until he found the one behind all this and made them regret their action.

When Malvis opened his eyes, he didn’t see anything but darkness. Surprised by the unusual situation, he quickly started to circulate his mana around himself for protection and slowly got up to survey his surroundings.
‘Who would dare kidnap me? And, how?!’
As he tried to come up with a face of anyone brave and strong enough to do this, he found the man sitting on a desk a few meters away from him. Malvis was really good at memorizing faces but he couldn’t think of anyone when he looked at the man’s face.
‘An outsider? A spy? Black hair and black eyes… Someone from Adonba?’
Malvis tried to sense the mana level of the man but he couldn’t sense anything.
"Welcome, dear visitor. Please look at the signboard before you do anything and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me."
The man spoke to Malvis without any enthusiasm like he got interrupted during whatever he was doing before this happened.
'What is this feeling? I feel like I should do everything as he said. Where do my surprises and weariness go?! Let's do as he said for now.'

I was pissed. After trying so hard to beg for Room to hit me with some magic and finally got the feeling of mana with some bruises from the spell, I got interrupted by a new visitor and sadly lost the feeling of mana before I could focus on them. Calm down me, we have a visitor now. Time to put my mask on.
Our visitor this time was a young man in pajamas with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was really handsome together with the cold impression, I knew many women who would try to get your attention even by force. You had my sympathy.
"Please take a seat on the sofa. Would you like something to eat or drink? We're going to be talking for a while."
As I spoke, a leather sofa appeared behind the guy. He looked quite surprised to see the sofa appearing behind him. Unsure of what to do, he carefully sat down in the end.
"Greetings, sir. My name is Malvis von Snowgem, the king of Whiteland. I'm really honored to be presented with such a wonderful opportunity."
Malvis stood up and bowed to me. Why did the king bow to me? Maybe he was being polite? But I heard that the king couldn't be soft. Anyway, this was a good opportunity to explore more of this world. Let's surprise him, Room!
"Woah"
Impressed voice came out of my mouth unintentionally. The view was gorgeous, snowfield as far as eyes could see, the illuminated towns linked together like a network with the big tower of light as its center, and most importantly there was no black fog blocking the view at all. So, he really had been all over the country. He must be a really good king.
"..."
And our good king was standing up and looking at the scenery with his mouth opened so wide, it looked like the jaw might get dislocated. Was he impressed or shocked? Well, mission accomplished!
"So, this is Whiteland. Could you tell me about those lights that illuminate every town, King Malvis?"
When I looked back at the king, he was still in the exact same post, like someone freezing the time. Was he okay?
"..."
No response. Hmm, while waiting for our visitor to recover, could you hit me with another spell, Room? Also lower the power a bit, the last one was kinda hurt.
