King Harmond was sitting at his brown, wooden desk. He has a picture of his younger self on the desk. "So, you two want the crown, I see."
"Yes, please," Crystal said with confidence.
"She? Get the crown?! Don't make me laugh! She cried when she got scraped on her knee. She needs to toughen up and quit being a baby!" Violet scoffed.
"Am not!"
"You are a baby!" she replied in a mocking tone. "Am not! Hahahaha!"
"Both of you, enough!" He banged on his table. "Tell you what. If any of you two can show me you deserve the crown. I'll give only one of you the throne. Deal?"
Violet said, "When I become queen, I'm gonna enslave all my enemies, as well as the rest of the townspeople. Then, I'll have two Tacocolo's and a McBurger here. Then, I'll enslave every region in the world!"
"I'm gonna make sure everyone is taken care of, people and Pokémon alike. And I'll only go to war if need be," Crystal said with stars in her eye.
"Psst. Your plan is laaaame. When are you gonna learn that nice guys finish last? Only the machiavellian can conquer the world!"
Harmond starts thinking. His eyes slowly switched from looking at Crystal to looking at Violet. He opened his mouth and let in some air. "And the heiress iiiiiis..." The scenes switched from zooming into crystal to zooming into her sister.
"Crystal," he finally declared.
Violet went on her rant. "What?! She doesn't know a thing about being a queen! All she wants to do is live in a upotian world where everyone lives a happy but same old, non-progressive life! You need an iron fist to rule the kingdom!"
"That's my rule. Besides, your idea is the reason why normal people in other regions see Aura people like outcasts. Plus, let's face it: Fast food will just make everyone into rotund tubs of lard, and progressing like huge cities just adds idiotic, drunk tourists! We have a few eating places. Isn't that enough?" Harmond sighed. "Dismissed. Not up for debate, girls. Now go play or something; I have papers to sign."
Crystal and Violet found their respective Pokémon and went on their seperate ways. Crystal started playing tag with her Riolu. Violet is in her room with her Salandit, coping and seething over the fact that she lost the crown to her sister.
"No! I must do something," she said to her Salandit coldly. "My parents will pay!" Her eyes glowed an amethyst colour, as the screen faded to black.
