The head warden starts first " Thank you coming to this backwater kingdom yourself. We're happy to be able to meet you, Young Master Bairstow. "
The young boy was the third child of the Noble Bairstow family which would have a high position even in any empire. He responds in a polite but slightly domineering voice " It was nice meeting you as well but now that I'm here I hope we could cut to the chase. You must've investigated and figured out that the new Head of the family is going to be selected. I'm in my eldest brother's faction and he sent me out to buy many demon slaves all across the continent. "
" ( In his head ) I should show that I have many other people to buy a slave so he keeps the price low. I shouldn't give him too much information either, just as much as he would already know. "
The head warden replies with a sly smile " No no Young Master, how would we dare to investigate people as noble as yourself. We were actually thinking to give this boy to you for free. You can think of this just as a small gift to the First Young Master (first Young Master means eldest young master or the first child). Just remember to tell the First Young Master of us. "
"( In his head ) what's the value of a little demon in front of a favour from the Bairstow family. The First Young Master is most likely to be the Head of his family when he grows up. Having him indebted to me even slightly would be extremely great for me. "
The Third Young Master (as in the third child) replies " How could we take something so precious for free just like that. We decided to pay 20 silver coins for him already. "
" ( In his head ) He wants Eldest brother to be indebted to him. All the others tried to give the slave at their camp for free as well. But we can't allow anything like that happening when I'm around. "
The Head warden wasn't able to refute the young Master and quickly agreed to the massive amount of money. He then sends Aziel away just as quick.
The young master leaves the room through the curtain. The knight ties Aziel's hands with a fortified rope and tugs on him to follow behind him.
Aziel walks through the curtain and sees the outside world. He sees lush trees on all sides and above them he sees beautiful red mountains resting in the horizon. He sees the red sun as it starts to hides itself behind the mountains and how it illuminates the skies in a bright yellow and red color. He sees large birds flying through the air and small critters on the ground. But his gazing is cut short when he feels a strong tug on the rope tied on his hands as he is led to a large wooden carriage with a wierd looking instinctual tied to the front.
He enters the carriage and sees three other demons with both their hands and feet tied. All of their bodies were filled with cuts and bruises all over. They all seemed angry and fierce, but most of all they looked incredibly strong.
Aziel was interested in looking at all the other demons but before that, he saw the Young Master enter a gold and white carriage lavishly decorated through some of the holes in the carriage he was in. His carriage didn't have any instinctual at the front to pull the carriage but was moving ahead by itself. The two knights went around the carriage without any mount and followed beside the Young Master's carriage just by running.
Slowly the coachman of their carriage readies up the instinctuals and thay start to move behind them. The knights then did some sort of magic and everyone was now floating in the sky without having any disturbances like on the ground. Aziel was amazed looking down on the ground from up above in the sky. He saw that all the massive trees were now as small as his finger and he felt like he could crush those tiny mountains in the horizon by pressing on it with his palm. Everyone couldn't help but look at the young kid as he gazed around in amazement. He than looks back at the knights in shock as they walked around in the air.
Ahead of them, one knight tells the young Master " Young Master, this slave that we just bought is quite different. Even though demons have strong physiques, his physique seems much stronger and his white hair isn't commonly seen in demons. Even more so, we haven't seen a demon as young as him from quite some time. All the other demons are over 800 years in age, but this one seemes to be even younger than ten. "
The Young Master didn't give much thought and just told him that they'll settle everything once they reach their family again.
Aziel was stoked to finally be able to meet other demons but before he could ask them anything, the other demons wanted to ask something first.
" You boy, who are your parents? " one of the demons ask.
" Well, I'm not really sure about my parents. I was told that I was sold in the slave camp when I was still a newborn. " Aziel replies.
" Hmmm ? I'm over a thousand years old and I've seen over thirty demons in my lifetime, but I haven't seen any with white hair. " one of the demon says.
Aziel was about to reply back but then he hears a loud explosion ahead of them. The carriage where the young master was in had been attacked. But the barriers on his carriage had activated in time and there was no harm to even the carriage. With the blink of an eye the two knights immediately disappeared and when he looked back at the demons, he felt a large gust of wind and all he sees is the ropes which were tied on the other demons lying on the ground.
