"Yes, I am a wolf. I'm part of the Canapy Pack."

Patience flicked his tail across the snow, his eyes becoming focused on her bleeding paw pads. He dug his paws into the snow, feeling slightly uncomfortable. After silently expressing worry for a few seconds longer, he finally opened up another conversation. 

"Puppy, you seem to have come a long way. What brings you here? I can tell you've interacted with humans very recently."

"I-"

She was bombarded with images of her handlers. Her eyes gazed beside her as the vest appears and shakes its head in disappointment.

"Don't want to talk about it. Why are you here?"

"I'm here because you're in my territory. I'm scouting out the area for intruders like you."

Patience dropped his kind smile as he began to cover his front paws with his huge tail. His eyes searched her entire body, taking in every last detail he could see. He tilted his head to see if she would do the same, and she did. 

She was confused as to why the wolf would do such a thing and stood up, shaking her fur to get the last bits of snow off of her body. The wind broke through her thick pelt, and she began to shiver for the first time since she arrived. She slowly walked up to the wolf and began to sniff it out of curiosity, eventually longing for the warmth of another creature around her.
