She stepped closer to the Patience, hoping he would understand her plea. He gazed at with interest, throughly thinking of her plea to stay with the pack. His fur blew in the wind for several minutes as he ran her plea through his head again and again, debating if having a young dog in a wolf pack would be safe. Many wolves knew of the existence of dogs because of their coexistence, but many also despised dogs and saw them as a disgrace to how wolves evolved. They hated how dogs, at one point being the man's best friend, began being bred for the selfish purposes of looks and no longer believed they could survive for more than a few days in the wilderness. After debating the arguments in his head, Patience thought of an excellent tie breaker. 

"What do you know about the people and their ways? Can you provide the Canapy Pack with any information and tricks we may not know yet?"

Shine was taken aback by this response. It was a responsible question to ask, but she didn't consider that wolves may be interested in the ways of people. She had assumed wolves would simply avoid confrontation with people because of their endangerment and was surprised to hear they would have put human activity into consideration when it came to anything regarding people's and wolves' relationship.
