As they left the lower ridges of the mountain, Shine began to notice more and more detail. The sun in the sky began to set, the rare sight of orange and pink creating a lovely sense of calm. Deers and their fawns began to settle down for the night, and she could spot the gophers eating whatever food they had found. Grass rustled in the light wind, each patch not covered in dense snow becoming brighter green the further they stepped from the mountain. The plain felt much safer than the lone cave had, and she was surprised to see how green the grass could get being so close to a snowy mountain, even if it wasn't covered in snow. It was a wonderful atmosphere to be in, and these views stretched on for miles as Patience and Shine stepped closer and closer to his packs den.

"Wait, you wolves have an alphas, right? Will they accept me even though I'm a dog?"

Patience smiled, his eye fixated on the world ahead of him.

"You finally realized that our alpha might be a problem!"

He turned towards Shine, his eyes widening as he glared at her. His tail was turned towards her direction.

"Do not worry. I'm certain the alpha will take a liking to you!"

He turned forward once again, speeding up as they neared a small forest with pine trees. Rabbits scurried away from the canines as they made their way through the natural canapy. Woodpeckers eyed the two curiously as they stepped by. Other creatures, such as snakes, hissed at them if they got to close.

How dangerous these creatures are...
