Aziel shouts " I'VE REACHED THE SECOND CLOUD !!!! "
"(In his head) My body feels a lot stronger than before and even my injuries are healed. Let me test out my power. " He thinks as he punches a tree nearby with his bare hands. The area where Aziel hit was completely gone and the tree collapses down. Aziel's face was more surprised than ever just by seeing his own power. He was now very confident in his abilities but remembered the other demon slaves that he saw get killed and the two knights and got his head back to reality. He was a smart child and knew that just this amount of strength wouldn't be enough to protect him and he would have to grow stronger.
At this point the moon was already high up in the sky and Aziel had to find a place to sleep as his main priority. He scoured the jungle for a few minutes before he decided to hide inside of a hollow tree trunk. He woke up in the morning feeling aches all over his body but was still better than sleeping out in the cold and dieing to a weak instinctual.
He then tried to find a water source for half the day but it was to no avail. He was already thirsty and he also hadn't eaten from over a day. He continued roaming around the forest and encountered a few more instinctuals which he could now tear apart a lot easier than before.
" (In his head) I can't find any water and I don't even know if I can eat the meat from those instinctuals. I need to get to some high vantage point to look around for any water. "
He starts to climb the tallest tree he could find and climbed all the way to the top. He could see thousands of trees all around him spanning till the horizon. He continued to look around and saw that the trees to his west were a darker green colour. He squints his eyes looking to the west and sees a giant instinctual walking around over there. The beast was absolutely humongous and had large spikes spanning all over its back, he had a deep black colour and clawed hands. Aziel was startled by just looking at the instinctual and almost lost his grip and fell down. He makes sure to note not to ever head west.
He continues looking around and sees a small flock of flying instinctuals going somewhere. He continues to see where they were headed and finally sees them land near a body of water hidden behind dense trees. He looks back up to the the sun and the floating asteroids in the sky and tries to get an exact direction he has to head to.
The water source was located slightly eastern north and he immediately set out to travel. He reached the lake of water before nightfall and immediately started to drink. After having his fill with just water he realized the amount of instinctuals around him was no less than 10. Most of them looked quite weak but there was one instinctual in particular which seemed a lot stronger than the others.
The moon was shining over them and the stars twinkled a light gleaming on top of them. Aziel gets ready for a fierce fight.
He stands alone against the instinctuals all growling and howling for a fight. The instinctuals charge forward but the strongest stayed behind. Aziel waited for them to come. A large looking orc was charging ahead first and a large agile mantis followed right behind him. All the other instinctuals were too weak to pose any threat.
" (In his head)I need to take care of the weaker ones first. The strong looking ones will be harder to beat with the other ones annoying me. "
The orc had already reached him. Aziel quickly tries to throw the orc's balance off by a full powered strike to the knee. The orc had a large body but short legs which would make one think that it would be easy to throw them off balance but their legs were the strongest part of their body. Even with the full powered strike from Aziel the orc wasn't affected much. Aziel, on the other hand lost his balance since he was hoping his kick would make the orc fall down. Aziel was about to fall down and went a few steps back while trying to regain his balance.
" (In his head) His leg is a lot more tough than I thought. I need to quickly regain my balance before the other instinctual attacks. " He quickly regained his balance and holded his arms up to guard from the mantis which he was sure would attack with the opportunity presented to it. But the mantis was a lot more late with it's attacks than he thought. " (In his head) Of course ! They wouldn't be able to cooperate properly without thinking. They only follow instincts and it would be quite rare for an instinctual to have such sophisticated battle instincts. " as the mantis gets closer for its delayed attack, Aziel gives it a punch in its abdomen cracking his tough exoskeleton also pushing him back greatly. He than tackles the orc towards all the other weaker instinctuals running behind him. He was trying to make him fall over but it seemed he had yet again underestimated the orc's strength. The orc didn't topple over and Aziel with his quick thinking jumped over it and was faced with the weaker instinctuals.
The Mantis had already ran away since he had enough speed and it would take the orc some time to reach Aziel. He went inside the horde of the instinctuals blocking and dodging hits from all sides. Aziel had terrifyingly sharp instincts for battle and dodged almost all attacks getting only a few minor cuts.
Even if those weaker instinctuals were only of the first cloud, facing so many of them together would be hard. But Aziel was able to take care of them before the orc would start to attack again. He now had to face the orc and the strong instinctual which didn't attack yet.
