I swear, Kami and Luz got this idea after reading too many magical girl Sergeant Cuteness comics!
When I wrote this comic, at some point I had to think to myself and explain "Kami doesn't really look like a Goddess, but rather just a normal human in weird cosplay"
The reason for this is that Luz and Kami have a 'powered up'-version - they can change their appearance to resemble their family line a bit more (and Luz has a few other appearances which will canonically not show up in this comic). But enough about this and more about that next week, let's leave the situation to Luz and Kami, defending Umeko and Earth!
