North Korea, Pyongyang...
Ryongsong Residence horse racing track.
A teary-eyed lady was sitting majestically on a horse, she had rare green eyes and an unconditionally perfect body that was visible even through the cooperate dress she had on. The tears that flowed from her eyes made the empty racetracks seem even more gloomy.
"Marshal!" a North Korean soldier who had just arrived on scene gave the young lady the most dignified salute one could receive.
The green-eyed lady's name was Kim Jung-Eun. The recently announced successor to the late 'North Korean Queen', Kim Ju-**. She was in a precarious situation where she had succeeded her mother when the state was experiencing a Civil war. Although unknown to the world, North Korea was currently divided between Kim Jung-Eun's faction and her cousin, Kim Jong Un who controls the North Korean Personality Cult.
Since the end of WWIII, the North Korean personality cult had changed its stance from worshipping the Kim family to keeping an eye on them. It was possible due to the power that opposing forces in the 'Workers' Party' had invested in them. It wasn't until the Kim family announced the poor health of the late 'Queen', that they took a decisive stance against the Kim family by declaring...
"The Kim family has lost its prestige over the years and we, the personality cult will bring up that prestige once more by forcefully appointing Kim Jong Un, grandson and namesake of our 'Respected Comrade Kim Jong **' as the Supreme leader of our Great Nation."
Kim Jung-Eun knew her cousin had used such an absurd reason to throw her mother's country into chaos. She resented him and wanted to decapitate him publicly. She thought it would be easy considering the obvious numerical difference in troops. She never assumed that her always proud cousin would throw away his pride by seeking help from outside forces.
"Baba and his allies have started moving across the borders and Director Myung has not given us any new information." the soldier reported.
"He's silent huh."
Kim Jung-Eun's voice was cold and bold as she said these words. Director Myung was someone who had deserted his nation, North Korea in the past and later on became a director at Northwest Pro. She was forced to ask this traitorous person for help and even sent her beloved daughter as a diplomatic hostage, yet he was silent at such a crucial time.
"...Baba didn't respond to our threat telling him to back off if he didn't want the whole of West Africa to feel our wrath?"
"Yes, he doesn't seem to care about what happens to his nation, his position as the 17th chair is just an honorary title after all."
"Are my siblings still choosing to be neutral?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
"....."
Kim Jung-Eun was in deep thought for a while before making up her mind
"If there is no news from the director in 24 hours, dispatch some of my troops to Nauru, and order them to lay their life on the line by killing as many people as they can."
"...."
"Speak your mind."
"The Safe Haven rule isn't something that even we can break without thinking about the repercussions."
"I know that, so I will unconditionally place the blame on Northwest Pro who didn't return our good faith."
The soldier saw that Kim Jung-Eu was serious about invading a Safe Haven and couldn't help gulping. It seemed like the world would experience a drastic change once more.
"What about the young lady?" the frightened soldier asked.
"Director Myung wouldn't dare harm my flesh and blood. Besides, the Park siblings are with them."
"Ah, yes. The Park siblings are trustworthy." the soldier responded with a smile. He had infinite trust in the Park siblings.
"Let's depart. It's about time I inform my siblings that they have no choice but to place their feet on my side if they don't want it to be cut off."
Meanwhile, at Nauru island...
"This fucking bastard, how dare you talk to the princess like that?" the Park siblings who had the trust of the Supreme Leader of North Korea were bickering with the disrespectful Noa who they had just met.
"Do you know who you keep using that tone with?" Park Joo-Won raised his voice at Noa.
"Tone? She is just the daugh-"Aoi hit Noa on the head and stopped him from uttering words that should never be said.
Aoi, a woman with a small build who didn't look her age of 34. She was the leader of the rag-tag Japanese bunch. She had a distinctive neck scar and a very sophisticated look. She indeed looked like a leader.
"I apologize on his behalf, he does not know basic manners but his skill as a guard is worth overlooking that flaw." Aoi bowed and directed these words to Kim Ha-Eun who hadn't even complained about Noa's tone.
"Don't worry about it. Park Joo-Won is also a little rough on the edges I am also at fault. Let's get along in the future."
"Hmph, pathetic." Noa scoffed at Ha-Eun who was apologizing when she did nothing wrong.
"This mother-" Park Ji-Woo was about to snap at Noa but regained his senses when he saw the cold gaze Ha-Eun gave him.
Having eight unfamiliar people live and sleep in the same house was indeed too much, especially when considering the individual personalities of this group. Aoi realized this fact and suddenly got an idea.
"How about a bit of bonding?" Aoi said.
"Bonding?" Nei who had been immersed in the game on his phone was interested in the words Aoi suddenly uttered.
"Yes, a spar to help us bond."
Park Ji-Woo saw right through Aoi's intentions and said
"You mean a spar to determine the hierarchy."
"Yeah, the weak have to be meek towards the strong. We will abide by this rule based on the outcome."
"I like it."
"Same here."
Everyone including the silent Kenji agreed. Well...almost everyone. As always, Nei was...
"Fuck no, why the hell should I listen to those selfish Park bastards and the deranged Noa. You guys can do whatever you want I will just remain here and play my game."
Everyone directed their gazes toward Nei. They were really frustrated.
....a gym room at the Trainee community of Northwest Pro
The unique group of eight caught the trainees' attention as they moved into the spar section. Nei ended up going as well.
"Nice we have a good crowd as well." Noa said with his usual arrogant expression.
"In what order do we do this?" Kim Ha-Eun respectfully directed this question towards Aoi, she did it because Aoi was currently the oldest in the group.
"Order? We don't need something like that" Noa replied before Aoi could answer. He already picked out his opponent.
"You, come." His fingers pointed at Park Joo-Won. Park Joo-Won gladly responded.
"I will happily beat the shit out of you."
The crowd of trainees who had gathered was murmuring as they watched the situation.
"Does anyone recognize any of them?"
"That's Nei Floren, the veteran newbie. I don't recognize the girl and those people wearing those shameless shirts."
"Same here. I think the strongest there is the veteran Newbie."
"The one with the scar looks stronger."
The crowd made various assumptions while Noa and Joo-Woo got ready for their spar.
"Like I said earlier, this is a spar. No fatal injury is allowed." Aoi said.
Nei scoffed at her while Joo-Won nodded respectfully. He also seemed to be aware of her age.
"Then, START."
"....."
Everyone suddenly fell silent. It was because Noa who was right in front of Park Joo-Won a second ago was now far away from him and he was also bleeding.
It happened in a split second just after Aoi said to begin. Park Joo-Won threw a very heavy punch with his rough fist that was larger than Noa's face. Noa couldn't respond on time and the impact threw him way back. He literally flew out.
Park Joo-Won had an arrogant expression as he saw the surprised Noa and said.
"What did that bastard Nei always say again?" He tilted his head as he thought for a while before continuing...
"Oh yeah, it's BAKAAAA."
Noa lost to him.
