Suddenly a portal opens up infront of him and someone comes out of it. It was a tiny creature which looked like a glowing ball of water in the shape of a dragon. It had small tough scales on its belly and its body seemed formless. It floated in the air magically and made it seem mysterious. It had a long purple tail which helped him to keep to fly since it could keep him propely balanced. It gracefully and slowly comes floating out of the portal with it's eyes closed as if it was waiting for something.
Aziel's eyes wander towards the portal and the creature that came out of it. He quickly runs away still keeping a watch on it while hiding in the trees. The creature opens it's eyes and looks around. It says " Huh?! Why am I in a forest? Did the spatial magic not work properly or is the person actually here? No, no there's no way that the grand elder would make a mistake with his magic. But if the person was here then he should be waiting for me right here. What could have happen- !! " he gets startled.
Aziel's head pops out from behind the trees. The creature starts to speak again " What's this little child doing here? Wait a minute, are those things horns?!! Is this child a demon?!!! " he shouts.
Aziel comes out from the bushes completely and stares amazingly at the creature which talked with him. Aziel wasn't scared of the creature anymore and was sure it wouldn't attack. " I'm Aziel. " he says
The creature replies " And I'm Lun- Wait wait wait, Let me get some things cleared first. Did you just awaken magic? "
Aziel replies " Magic? "
" You don't know what magic is? This is really confusing me. Are you not the one who made me come here. But it wouldn't be possible that you awakened magic because there shouldn't be any demons left who could awaken magic. " He takes a look back at Aziel and seemed to stare at Aziel. He suddenly shouts " You do have traces of magic on you, though it is an extremely small amount. You must be the one who awakened a three chambered mana heart. Tell me how you ended up here? "
Aziel starts his story from when he was sold to the Bairstow family's young master up till now.
The creature was clearly amazed by listening to how well Aziel fought and after hearing his story says " By what you described the instinctual as, it must be an orc. So you're telling me a little kid was able to kill an orc of the same rank as him alone! And also defeat a dozen instinctuals altogether!! And even awaken magic when he reached the third cloud!!! And even have a three chambered magic heart !!!!! " he screamed on the top of his lungs.
" Well, your story does make sense and I get why you wouldn't know what magic is? But how are you, a demon, able to use magic? "
Aziel shrugs his shoulders indicating he doesn't know why.
" Magic is actually closely tied to one's bloodline just like their physique, talent and looks. If one has parents who are highly talented mages then the child would also most likely have high talent in magic. And so would his talent carry on in his bloodline. But in the Great Monarch War eight thousand years ago, almost all of the mages of the demon race were wiped out. Even more so the mages with talent so unbelievably high enough to awaken magic at the third cloud. But it seems like even you don't know who your parents are. "
He takes a deep sigh and continues " I should start introducing myself by now. My name is Lunar and I'm from the spirit race. Not that you would know much about our race. I'll explain everything I can to you.
Spirit race - The spirit race is a unique race which is made completely from the magic orbs you saw in the air. Most races have bodies of flesh and are strengthened with energy from energy beads. But we spirits have a body made completely from solidified mana, which is what the glowing orbs in the sky are called. We can't absorb energy but instead have a stronger control over magic because of which every person from our race can become a mage. We can rise in clouds ( raise their level or rank ) by solidifying mana and growing our body.
Why lunar came there - We spirits have a strong affinity with magic and it helps us have better control over it. Our spirit race's monarch made deals with other races such that we would send some spirits to help only highly talented mages on the conditions that we would get some form of repayment. Normally we are treated very respectfully and are thanked heavily when we arrive to guide someone's magic unlike someone else who would hide from me after looking at me. We would also get a lot of resources and money since mostly only noble families would have talented mages because of their bloodline.
Now that I think about it, how am I supposed to get any form of repayment from you. "
Aziel just shrugs his shoulders again.
" The portal is already closed and I can't make a portal, but there isn't much of a problem since with your talent you will definitely become extremely powerful in the future. "
Aziel finally starts to speak " So you'll teach me magic if I give you some stuff when I grow older. "
Lunar replies " Not only magic but I also have to teach you a lot more stuff since you'll be new to the world. But yes, I'll be guiding you. I won't be a teacher but a companion given the circumstances. "
