At the neighborhood, Commander Moon smiled nervously when she noticed Hairy giving her a dirty look. Guess he hadn’t let go of what happened yesterday. She didn’t have time helping him find some Average Bleck as she was worried about Commander Purple’s thirst to kill Epic Supreme.

“Isn’t that Storm’s mate?”

Heartfur and Commander Moon stop when two familiar cats stepped in front of them. She recognized them to be Stormwing’s parents Rain and Mint, whom she hadn’t seen since the week before she left to start Moon Family.

“Haven’t you grown some?” Mint purred. Rain was purring as well, and Commander Moon blushed that they probably already knew she was expecting kits. Nothing she could hide. “Can we join? A kind young man told us about your new Family.”

Someone was advertising my Family? Commander Moon thought raising an eyebrow. She never saw Enki to be the type to do something like that, but she could be wrong. “Sure, why not?”

Mint appeared happy as she took the lead. “Ooo, I’m sure your father wouldn’t mind coming along too!” She exclaimed as she dashed off with Commander Moon and Heartfur trying to keep up.

“Your father was once part of a Family,” Heartfur purred.

“He was?” Commander Moon meowed with wide eyes. She never got to know her father that well before being adopted by Tina’s family. Faint memories didn’t tell her much either.

Heartfur nodded but didn’t say anymore as they reached another house. It looked like the house Commander Moon saw before she was cat-napped by Zeval. She didn’t think that this was the same place her father resided in. “Hey, Darkstorm, come meet your daughter!” Mint called.

A battle-scarred black tom soon leaves the house and smiles when he lays eyes on Commander Moon. She felt a warm fuzzy feeling down below and purred when her father rushed down from the patio and bumped heads with her and Heartfur.

“I’m glad to see you safe,” Darkstorm purred. He lowered his ears as he continued smiling with worry when Commander Moon stares at him blankly. “Lillian’s been telling me stories about magical people causing trouble.”

Ugh, seriously? Commander Moon thought bitterly. She flicked her ear before changing subjects as she faced Mint and Rain. “You two will be called Mintheart and Rainheart.”

As they travel back, Commander Moon kept a frown on her face. “Everything’s doing fine, despite what Lillian has said,” she told her father. Sure, there was some bad guys like Mr. Heart whom she hasn’t heard back from Zeval on those missing prisoners.

“I understand, but we should still be on guard,” Darkstorm meowed in a serious tone as Commander Moon rolled her eyes. She hadn’t expected her father to meet Lillian.

Later, Commander Moon allowed the three cats to explore camp and settle in while she tries to get over what Darkstorm had told her. It’s not like she had time when Sochi comes racing into camp with urgency. “Sochi, how did you escape Zeval’s leader?” Commander Moon asked.

Sochi waved one hand. “I had it handled, but I left the others as that would be obvious,” he explained as he breathed heavily not noticing the irritated look on Commander Moon’s face. How selfish could he be? “But Murphy has been physically beating me!”

“What?” Commander Moon asked in disbelief.

“I know! He isn’t like that!” Sochi screamed in distress. Stormwing joined Commander Moon’s side and narrowed his eyes at the green dinosaur. “It makes me very upset!”

“Let’s go fix this,” Commander Moon told him gently. “NOW.” Sochi was startled before nodding his head rapidly. She was tired and angry at everything right now.

Commander Moon was happy to see Sienna waiting for them before noticing Murphy wearing an odd mask as well as black and gold clothes. Was this some new trend going on? His eyes also appeared to be shade of bright red opposed to his original eye color.

“I can’t believe he would do this,” Sienna said in her usual soft-spoken tone. She turned to face Commander Moon and bowed her head before placing one hand on her chest. “It appears Murphy is under the influence.”

“Not the best way to describe it, but sure,” Stormwing mewed. Sienna didn’t seem to catch that as she closed her eyes.

Before she could explain anymore of what was going on, Murphy hops into the air and slams his two feet onto Sochi who screeched before tumbling over. “Murphy, why?”

“I am Golden M now,” Murphy explained. He held his hands out to the newcomers that stared at him with wide, confused stares. “My mission is to eradicate the useless pile of junk residing in Tropical Land.”

Crying tears, Sochi takes his hand and slaps Golden M across the face. Sienna floated over to Sochi. “Why not stomp on him and make him cry?” She asked her eyes shifting to Golden M.

As Sochi steps back to leap, Sienna floats back to Commander Moon and Stormwing. “My fiancé’s pal may be the reason for this, but I cannot be sure,” she explained.

“Just beat him for an answer,” Commander Moon growled. She stops when she hears laughter and sees Jeremiah Jr flying from the sky with his bodyguard Boomerang.

“Hey Sochi, hey Murphy,” greeted Jeremiah Jr before landing with his arms on his hips.

“Actually it’s…,” Stormwing’s voice trails off when Golden M kicks Jeremiah Jr’s leg causing the Reptile-Poison Dragon hybrid to cry out in pain.

Spinning around and screaming, Jeremiah Jr blows a purple fire at Golden M, consuming the young man in flames as he gives an agonizing screech. Boomerang merely laughs at his enemy’s pain for kicking the young prince.

Commander Moon shook her head. This was one weird situation, she thought sighing. At least it was resolved now since Jeremiah Jr burned Golden M up in flames.

Night came and the full moon had not appeared yet. While trying to tire herself out, Commander Moon stopped to have a chat with Grayfoot who was guarding the camp for the day. “Is it wrong to love a Blaze Family cat?” Grayfoot asked.

Commander Moon shook her head, confused on the question. “No, why?”

“I have to disagree, someone needs to keep Thornfire in check,” Grayfoot growled.

“Uh, he can love whoever he chooses,” Commander Moon told him before turning to leave. Just as she did, the Baffles surround Grayfoot as he whispers in their ears about spying on Thornfire. What has gotten into Grayfoot?
