As she sat mesmerizing about her own mysteries BIANCA, her vivacious and perceptive friend, burst into the office, her eyes shined with excitement. “Anna! Guess what? There's a surprise waiting for you!. I don't know why and who is spoiling you but I hope it's good taste.“ Bianca said breathlessly as though she was just from running all the way from street nine.

Anna's heart skiped a beat, her curiosity piqued by Bianca's mysterious announcement. She was not expecting anyone , infact when was the last time she received anything at her work place. She thought to herself as she stared back at Bianca blankly. “Oh, come on, Bianca! Don't keep me in suspense. What is it?“ Anna finally asked teasingly as though she was sure this was a big mistake and that Bianca would be so sorry after messing up as usual.

Bianca grinned mischievously, holding a small, beautifully wrapped package in her hands. “Open it and see for yourself. With the way it's wrapped and carefully packaged , it could be from someone special.“ Bianca whispered , her heart brimming with joy as she handed the package to Anna. Anna held the package hesitantly as she asked herself what would be inside, she was actually nervous or maybe scared, this was new to her.

Anna delicately untied the ribbon and revealed a bouquet of vibrant, fragrant roses. A delicate card, adorned with an elegant script, rested among the blooms. Anna's eyes widened with intrigue as she read the words aloud. "Embrace the unknown and meet me where the stars touch the earth. Love Luke”Anna read the words in a hushed voice. Bianca gasped as her own anticipation mirrored in her eyes. “Anna, this is like a scene from a romance novel. Someone has cast a spell on your heart.“ Bianca said sincerely.

A sense of adventure and longing overtook Anna, and she felt compelled to follow the enigmatic message's instructions. Anna, her heart racing with anticipation, looked at the clock on her desk. It's was late, and the office was empty except for her and Bianca, who had been diligently working by her side. “Bianca, We've been working late, but I can't focus anymore. I don't think I can continue.“Anna said excitedly as she looked up at Bianca who stared knowingly at her. Infact she was amused, this was the first time Anna had actually realised they worked late sometimes.

“Anna, are you sure? We still have a lot to finish up tonight.“ Bianca asked as her eyes twinkled mischievously. Anna stared back at her pulling off her sheepish expressions which made Bianca burst out loud. “Alright, Anna. I'll stay here and wrap up things. You go ahead. But promise me you will be alright on your way home. Right” Anna smiled appreciatively at her friend, grabbed her belongings, and rushed out of the office.

Anna arrived at her apartment, her pulse quickening with every step. She fumbled with the keys in her pocket, her excitement making her hands tremble. Unlocking the door, she stepped inside. With the quite atmosphere , she knew her brother was already asleep. So she went on into the living room and placed the package from Luke on the table, her eyes fixed on it. A mix of anticipation and a slight twinge of disappointment filled her. She expected him to atleast pick her up from work following the act of sending her the package.

“Maybe I got my hopes up too high. But I can't help but wonder...“Anna whispered to herself as she stared at the roses. Suddenly, a sound caught Anna's attention, a faint melody drifting through the stillness of the night. She followed the sound, walking towards her balcony.

She stepped out onto the balcony, the cool night air caressing her face. She looked around, searching for the source of the sound. But there was no one , so she decided she should go back inside but then the night sky looked different , it was beautiful.

She felt as though everything with this day was being magical making her feel special . She rushed inside, picked the flowers and came back to the balcony.

Anna stood at the edge of her balcony, overlooking the city's twinkling lights. The sound had stopped but the night sky was ablaze with stars, and a soft breeze carried a hint of mystery. With trembling hands, Anna clutched the bouquet close to her heart, her anticipation palpable. Anna continued and stepped out onto the balcony, her eyes seemed to be searching for any sign of the person who had ignited her curiosity. She had a feeling that Luke was around ,somewhere, somehow .

And then she looked down, there, under the moonlit sky, stood Luke, his presence commanding and captivating. His tall, lean figure exuded confidence and elegance. Leaning casually against his luxurious, sleek car, he epitomized sophistication and style.

His perfectly tailored suit hugged his broad shoulders, accentuating his masculine form. The fabric shimmered subtly under the moon's soft rays, reflecting the elegance that surrounded him. Each detail, from the meticulous stitching to the choice of fabric, spoke of his impeccable taste.

His chiseled jawline, adorned with a hint of rugged stubble, framed a captivating smile. Sparkling eyes, the color of the deepest sapphire, shimmered with a combination of mystery and warmth. Luke, looked up towards Anna, a breathtaking smile curving his lips. “I couldn't resist the chance to see you beneath the stars. They pale in comparison to your radiance.“ Luke said sincerely breaking the silence. Anna's heart raced, her emotions swirling like a whirlwind.

“ Oh my God, Luke... I never expected this. When …when did you get here.“ Anna asked breathlessly almost whispering to herself.“ I have been waiting here. What took you so long. You know…Some things are simply meant to be, Anna. And I believe our paths were destined to intertwine.“ Luke said standing straight as he kept his hands within his pockets. They stood there, the world fading away around them as they got lost in each other's eyes. The weight of unspoken words hang in the air, fueling the spark that had ignited between them. “Luke, would you like to come in?“ Anna asked softly breaking both the intense gaze and silense. She wasn't sure why she had a feeling this man here wouldn't come in so she decided to ask instead. 

Luke's gaze flickered with longing, but a sense of responsibility tugged at his heart. “Anna, as much as I want to step inside your world tonight, it's late, and I have something urgent to attend to. I simply wanted to keep my promise and see you, even if only for a moment.“

Luke answered regretfully not taking his eyes from her face. Anna's eyes widen with surprise, mixed emotions cascading across her face. As expected , he wasn't going to come in. She remained quite for a moment then suddenly her expression changed. “ I knew you wouldn't come in, since you not willing to, I will come to you then” With this she rushed out of her apartment in a swift then to Luke with open arms.

She threw herself into his embrace as if never wanting to let go. Luke was still surprised. Where did she get this courage , they barely went physical. As his mind was flooding with questions, Anna had quit a great answer to all of them. “Just like you said Luke, you had been waiting for me, so did I, and I think I can't wait anymore.“ At this moment , Luke was speechless so he just smiled and wrapped his arms around her, feeling the warmth of her presence against the cool night air.
