Classes have ended for the day and just like I have planned, I am going to the cemetery to visit Sonia’s grave and to pay respect.
I took an Uber to go to Libra City Memorial.
If my memory is correct, that is where Sonia is buried.
I guess I gotta stop by a flower shop first before visiting her grave.
I wonder if there is any flower shop near the cemetery.
I guess I should Google it.
I search if there is any flower shop near the cemetery and as I did, a dozen popped out.
Well, I guess its a profitable place to sell flowers.
I search each shop that pops out to see if they are selling any shell-pink roses which is Sonia’s favorite flower.
As to why she loves that flower, it is because her favorite color is pink which is the reason she told me.
She also specifically said that if ever I give her flowers, I should give her a shell-pink rose.
I never got to give her those but I guess now is the time.
While I was thinking to myself, the Uber driver tells me that we have arrived in the cemetery.
“We’re here!”
I thank the Uber driver.
“Thanks!”
And got off the car.
The car door automatically closes and the Uber slowly dives off.
I didn’t need to pay the driver since I already paid in advanced.
Anyways, I make my way to the flower shop that sells shell-pink roses which is a shop called Happy Seeds which is surprisingly not far from the cemetery.
As I arrived, I entered the flower shop and I was greeted by a pretty dark skin girl with long black hair and sunset colored eyes who is wearing a frilly black and white dress that I would assume to be the store’s uniform and a golden cross shape hairpins.
“Welcome to Happy Seed!”
I approach the pretty dark skin girl who I assume is the store clerk.
“Do you have any shell-pink roses?”
I asked the pretty dark skin girl.
“Of course we do! How many do you need?”
The pretty dark skin girl answered cheerfully and ask me a question.
“A dozen...”
I answered.
“Got it! Please wait right here while I go fetch them.”
The pretty dark skin girl said cheerfully and went towards a corner that is full of pink flowers.
While I was waiting for my order, the door of the flower shop opens accompanying with a chime sound.
The dark skin pretty girl greets the person who have just entered.
“Welcome to Happy Seed- Oh my! Aren’t you Faith from Sweet Dream?”
Did she just say Faith?
Out of curiosity, I look at the person who entered and saw a familiar looking girl with short blond hair and pink eyes who is wearing a school uniform.
It is definitely Faith and she looks exactly like Sonia but all grown up.
“Yeah its me. Want my autograph?”
Faith said nonchalantly to the pretty dark skin girl.
“Yes please! I’m a big fan!”
The pretty dark skin girl responded happily.
“Then get me something to write on.”
Faith said to the pretty dark skin girl in a cool manner with a smile.
“Will do!”
The dark pretty girl rushes towards the counter and search which I probably assume are writing materials.
“Do you want my autograph too?”
Faith asked me which took me by surprise.
I turn towards Faith and saw her staring at me.
As I look at her face, I am suddenly overwhelmed with sadness.
“Huh? Why are you crying?”
What Faith said got me dumbfounded.
“What? I’m crying?”
“Yeah! You are!”
Faith responded nonchalantly.
I took out my phone to check my reflection.
As I did, I saw tears falling down my eyes.
“Wha-what the?”
I immediately wipe the tears off with the sleeves of my jacket.
“Here! Use this! You will get your sleeves dirty.”
Faith said and hands me a pink handkerchief with a bunny that is stitched on the bottom corner.
I don’t want to be a bother so I rejected her offer.
“I can’t...”
Faith shoves the handkerchief to me.
“Just take it! You are making me feel awkward!”
I reluctantly accepts the handkerchief.
“Thanks...”
And wipe my tears with it.
While I was wiping my tears, Faith speaks to me.
“No need to return it. You can keep it or sell it on the internet. Your choice.”
I couldn’t help but to react on what Faith have just said.
“W-what-”
Before I could finish reacting, the pretty dark skin girl returns with a pen and a paper.
“Here you go!”
The pretty dark skin girl said and hands the pen and paper to Faith.
Faith takes the pen and paper.
She then signs the paper.
After singing the paper, she gives them back to the pretty dark skin girl.
The pretty dark skin girl receives the pen and paper.
She hugs the paper and expresses her gratitude.
“Thank you so much!”
“Are you satisfied with just my autograph, don’t you want a selfie?”
Faith asked the pretty dark skin girl nonchalantly.
“Yes please!”
The pretty dark skin girl accepts Faith’s offer.
After that, the pretty dark skin girl takes out her phone and she took a selfie with Faith.
After taking a selfie, the pretty dark skin girl hugs both her phone and the signed paper in satisfaction.
“I will treasure this forever!”
Faith turn towards me.
“Don’t you want my autograph and a selfie too?”
She asked.
I rejected her offer.
“No! I’m good!”
“You sure?”
Faith asked teasingly.
I wave my hand and repeat myself.
“I’m good! I’m good!”
“Your lost then.”
Faith said nonchalantly.
After that she turned towards the pretty dark skin girl.
“By the way, could you get me one shell-pink rose?”
A shell-pink rose huh.
I guess that's for Sonia.
It’s Sonia’s death anniversary after all so it makes sense that Faith will visit her sister’s grave.
“Will sure do!”
The pretty dark skin girl said cheerfully.
She places her phone, the pen and paper on the counter and head towards the corner where the pink flowers are.
I wonder if she forgot about my order?
All of a sudden, I heard a sound that sounds like a machine gun being fired.
Ratatatatatata*
The sound was not realistic and it sounded like it came from a game so I didn’t panic but I did get surprised.
I turn towards where the sound is coming from which is from Faith.
Faith takes her phone out from her school jacket and taps on it.
As she did, the sound of gunshots stopped.
She place her phone on her right ear.
“Yeah?”
“...”
“Yeah I know!”
“...”
“I will be there on time!”
“...”
“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!”
“...”
“I know!”
“...”
“Bye!”
Faith puts her phone away and as she did, the pretty dark skin girl arrives with her order.
“Here you go! One shell-pink rose!”
The pretty dark skin girl hands over a single shell-pink rose to faith that have been nicely wrapped.
“Thanks! How much?”
Faith said and takes out her phone.
“No need! It’s on the house!”
The pretty dark skin girl said in a cheerful manner.
“Are you sure?”
Faith asked.”
“Yes! It’s thanks for the autograph and the selfie.”
The pretty dark skin girl replied happily.
“Alright then!”
Faith replied and puts her phone away.
After that, she says her farewell.
“Laters you two!”
And head towards the exit.
The pretty dark skin girl responds to Faith’s farewell.
“See you later and love you!!!”
After Faith have left the flower shop, the pretty dark skin girl is awestruck.
“Oh my god! I met Faith from Sweet Dream! Oh my god!!! Best day ever!!!”
While the pretty dark skin girl was celebrating by herself, I call her attention.
“Umm... About my order...”
She turn towards me.
“Oh right! I forgot!”
The pretty dark skin girl said in realization.
She apologizes to me in a sincere manner.
“I’m so sorry!”
“It’s okay.”
I responded.
“So, umm... What was your order again?”
The pretty dark skin girl asked in a timid manner.
I guess she is embarrassed that she forgot my order.
Can’t blame her, she met a celebrity after all.
“A dozen of shell-pink roses.”
I responded.
“Gotcha!”
The pretty dark skin girl said cheerfully and goes towards the corner on where the pink flowers are at.
I watch the pretty dark skin girl getting my order while thinking to myself.
Now that I think about it, Faith didn’t recognized me at all.
Well, I guess I can’t blame her since it have been 10 years since we last saw each other.
If she did recognized me, she would have probably slapped me instead of offering me her handkerchief to wipe my tears.
I kind of feel guilty for not telling Faith who I am and making her feel concerned about me, and at the same time, I feel relieved that she did not recognized me.
Speaking about Faith, I should wait a while before visiting Sonia’s grave.
If I visit while she is there, she will probably realized who I am and I will end up souring her mood.
...
Meanwhile, outside the flower shop...
Faith is standing outside the door of the flower shop with her right hand on her chest while her face is flush red.
“Yuto is back and he is more handsome than I remember.”
Faith held her chest tighter and speaks to herself.
“No I can’t! Yuto belongs to big sis! I just can’t! After what I have done to him, I just can’t! And besides, he is probably here to visit big sis.”
Faith breathes in heavily and tries to relieve her tension.
“Huff!”
After breathing heavily, she speaks to herself.
“I should probably apologize to him when I get the chance. I should ask big sis Rei later on where I could find Yuto.”
After talking to herself, Faith starts walking towards the cemetery.
