I killed some time for about an hour on a nearby cafe before visiting Sonia’s grave.
As to why there is a cafe near the cemetery, I absolutely have no idea why.
Maybe the real estate is cheap?
Anyways, I think that Faith have already left the cemetery by now.
She did receive a phone call that looked urgent so she probably could not stay long.
I make my way towards the cemetery.
As I arrived at the cemetery, I realized that this place is huge.
I also realized that I do not know where Sonia’s grave is located at.
Well, I could use magic to locate Sonia’s grave but there might be people around so it is definitely not a good idea.
I just decided to use modern technology instead.
I took out my phone and scan the QR code that is engraved on the gate of the cemetery.
As I scanned the QR code, my phone downloads an app called Libra City Memorial App.
After the app have been downloaded and installed, I opened the app and type on the search bar these words.
Locate Sonia Brookes Grave
As I entered those words, the app asked me if I would need a drone to guide me.
I pick yes.
It’s definitely faster then trying to navigate through the GPS.
All of a sudden, a drone shoots out from a cylinder container and hovers on front of me.
A holographic screen appears on front of the drown and the words “Follow Me!” appears.
I walk towards the drone and the drone flies off slowly.
I follow the drone.
After walking for thirty minutes, I reached Sonia’s grave.
As I arrived on front of Sonia’s grave, the drone flies away.
I guess it done its job and decided to leave.
On front of Sonia’s grave, I placed a bouquet of shell-pink rose.
After placing the shell-pink rose down, I stood up and look at Sonia’s grave stone.

I talk to myself.
“A loving daughter and an inspiring star huh...”
“Sonia did wanted to be an actor.”
“I’m pretty sure she would be one right now if she was still alive.”
“She would have definitely been a star.”
“Now then, what should I talk about?”

“I guess a greeting?”
I talk to Sonia’s grave.
“Hi there! Long time no see! It have been 10 years.”
“A lot of things have happened to me for these past years.”
I look around to see if there are people nearby.
As I did, I see no one.
I don’t want anyone to hear what I’m about to say after all.
I turn back to Sonia’s grave and speak.
“You wouldn’t believe it but I become a mage! Can you believe it?”
“Can you believe that I can use magic?”
“Magic is definitely a powerful and useful tool.”
“In fact...”
Tears starts pouring down from my eyes.
“In fact, if I was able to use magic back then, I would had been able to save you!”
“I wish there was a spell for me to turn back time. If there is, I would go back in a heart beat and save you even if I have to sacrifice myself to do it.”
“I would give everything to bring you back.”
“Anything... Including my soul!”
“Sadly, time travel is both science fiction in the real world and fantasy in the world of the occult.”
“All I can do right now is to hunt down the people who have done this to you.”
I grip my fist in rage.
“I would not rest till I make them pay for what they have done to you!”
“I will make them all pay!”
“I swear in my mage’s honor, I will avenge you even if it is the last thing I would do! I promise you that! Justice will be served!”
I take a deep breathe and calm myself down from the rage.
“Anyways, I hope you are happy wherever you are right now! See you later!”
After saying my farewell, I pick up the bouquet of shell-pink rose and left.

I arrive back home and I did not see Rei nor Arnold around.
I guess they are still at work.
I head straight to my room, place my bag on my bed and place the bouquet of shell-pink roses on my desk.
Then I lay my hand on the bouquet and cast a spell.
“Invoke!”
Mana manifests on front of my hand.
“Dispose!”
The mana turned black due to the corruption and the bouquet of shell-pink roses disintegrated into nothing.
After that, I took out my laptop from my bag and placed it on the desk.
I turned my laptop and do some digging on the net in regards to the incident 10 years ago as well as looking for strange rumors that might lead me to the cult.
I need to start somewhere after all.
I could not just go out and search blindly.
While I was searching for info on the net, I got a notification on my phone.
I pick my phone up that was lying on the desk and see what it is about.
As I check the notification, I saw that Marie's Merry Travels is live on YouTube.
Maybe I should take a short break and check her stream out.
I click on the notification and I was immediately taken to YouTube on Marie’s Channel.
I watch Marie’s stream.
Marie is currently giving a tour of her hotel room.
I gotta say, she is sure entertaining.
After she gave a tour of her hotel room, she sat down on the sofa and starts a Q an A session.
She picks up her phone and reads the first question.
“Wow! You guys certainly send a lot of question in Marshmallow. Well then! Let’s start with the first question. Let’s see... It says... What is this? What is with these weird symbols? It’s so creepy! It must be a prank...”
All of a sudden, Marie’s face became blank and drops her phone.
What is this?
Is Marie doing a jump scare prank?
I look at her eyes and saw something odd.
It kinda looks like she is hypnotized.
I have used a hypnotic spell before and people who fell victim to that spell would have a similar blank face.
Although, it just might be a jump scare prank by Marie but I couldn’t help but to be bothered by it.
Someone send a super chat to Marie in strange characters.

As I saw the super chat, I realized something.
“No way! Those are runes!”
I studied runes back in middle school so I know how to read them.
I read the runes out loud.
“Take the box cutter on the table and cut yourself..”
A hypnotic like state and a runes commanding someone to cut themselves...
I just realized something.
Some asshole have hexed Marie.
Marie suddenly stood up and lifelessly and picks up a box cutter that was on the table on front of her.
“Shit!”
I took my phone and rush towards the window of my room.
I open the window vigorously
Strong wind breezes pass through my face making my hair flutter.
I look at the window, place my foot on the window’s ledge, and jumped out without any hesitation.
While I was in the air, I gather mana around my body and recite a spell.
“Invoke!”
Mana manifested around my body.
“Levitate!”
The mana around me turned green and I started to defy gravity.
Levitation is a wind elemental spell that, just like its name, makes you levitate in air and defy gravity using by converting mana into wind.
“Soar!”
I said sternly and the mana around me pushes me forward which made me soar through the sky.
While I was soaring through the sky, I check Google Maps to pinpoint were Marie’s hotel is located at while her stream is playing at the background.
I see that she is repeatedly cutting herself while she is covered in blood.
I hope I’m not too late to cast a healing spell on her.
I could not bring her back from the dead after all since I am not a necromancer.
Anyways, Marie did tell me where she is staying at when we were talking in the airport which is Arcadia Hotel, a famous five star hotel in Libra city, so I was able to Google the location.
