I accidentally got dragged into writing an anthology that's being self-published.

"Joy. How do you do something like that on accident?"

They thought it would be really fun to do so they dragged me into it. Then slap! Suddenly we're told it's getting self-published and there will be an audiobook version of it too. A Kickstarter is currently up and there are a bunch of exciting tier rewards!

The premise is that a spaceship descends to Earth with a countdown and the whole world reacts in panic. Each author has their own take of people's reactions to the ship and it was a lot of fun to write for. My story is about a reader who has a mental breakdown trying to finish the hundreds of unread books she owns which may or may not come from a place of truth (*coughs in having 200 books to read*). While we're here, I also want to announce I'm also going on a small hiatus. With the frenzy of that whole process the past couple of months, I've become behind on the writing projects I have, and the backlog is nearly gone. "Write Off" has been officially given notice and "Slow and Speedy Win the Fight" has enough until the beginning of August and updates will be put on hold soon after.

I also honestly need a break to relax and maybe read. I'm quite tired in between community events, work, and everything in between. It's sort of really frustrating for me though since I'm very close to finishing the first book of "Slow and Speedy Fight the Fight" and want to start on the second book asap but I find myself staring blankly at the screen as I stress about a bajillion other things I have to do. 

If I somehow manage to write, I will schedule them here on Tapas but I want to give myself a proper rest.
