Nikolas kept to his word and grabbed Hunter some food after they left the police station.
"Why did you help find me?" Hunter asked, before biting into his burrito.
"Because, kid. Even though your father moved on and had you, I wasn't going to get mad at him. I loved him. I still do but I thought I was going to move on after I found you." Nikolas slowed down at a stop light and sighed.
"You didn't make those letters with your name on them, did you?" Hunter asked, looking up at Nikolas.
"No, I did not."
"I think my father loved you even after marrying my mother and having me." Hunter blurted, shrugging his shoulders. "Why would he keep letters from his ex? Why would he continue to hold onto things from you if he was so in love with my mom?"
"Good point...but I don't think he still loves me." Nikolas said, gripping the wheel as he started to drive when the light turned green.
"Why do you think that?" Hunter took another bite out of his burrito.
"I saw him nearly a week ago when he was looking for you."
"How did he react?" The black-haired teen gave Rosa a small portion of his burrito and then grabbed another one.
"As soon as I touched him, he mentioned your mother."
Hunter coughed on his burrito, startling Rosa. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."
"It's…fine, kid."
After talking for a while, Nikolas pulled up in front of the driveway of the Martinez home. He pulled out his phone before calling Jordan and putting him on speaker.
"Hey, Jor."
"Hi, Nik.." Hunter's eyes widened, hearing his father's voice.
"Where are you?" Nikolas looked around, keeping his eyes outside the window.
"At home, why? Did you find something about Hunter?"
"Yeah, can you come out real quick?" Jordan hung up and a few moments later, the front door was opening. Nikolas and Hunter got out of the vehicle just as Jordan rushed to his son.
"Oh my gosh-" Jordan grabbed and kissed Hunter's face.
"Okay, Dad- I got it- I missed you too." Jordan hugged his son tighter and tried not to cry.
"Hunter.."
Nikolas smiled and started to get in his car. "Nikolas Hunter White, don't you dare get in that car." Both Hunter and Nikolas's eyes widened.
Jordan let go of Hunter and Nikolas slowly moved from his car. Jordan walked over, grabbed Nikolas's collar, and pulled him down so that they were face to face.
"You didn't even notice, did you?" Jordan mumbled, staring into his eyes.
"No, I did but I didn't think it was possible that you named your own son after me." Nikolas was dumbfounded.
"Okay, okay. I don't need you guys doing this outside or in the car. We all need to talk and I need to see my boyfriend." Hunter addressed the two.
"He's sleeping in your bedroom," Jordan told his son and hugged Nikolas while Hunter ran inside. He rushed upstairs and barged into his own bedroom.
Theodore was sleeping in a nest of Hunter's clothes on the bed. Hunter teared up and jumped on the bed, tackling his sleeping boyfriend. Hunter got very excited and kissed Theodore deeply until Theodore woke up.
"Hunter.."
"Hi, baby. I missed you so much." Hunter wrapped his arms around Theodore and Theodore blushed.
"This is another dream.." Theodore turned his head away but clung to the alpha.
"Nope, I'm really here." Hunter smiled.
"R-Really?" Theodore teared up and he raised up to come face to face with him.
"Really, really. You know I wouldn't lie to you.'' Hunter kissed Theodore again.
