As I walked I heard something from a room. Crashing, glass shattering, the sounds of the monsters.
"Rudi?" I asked as I ran to the room, throwing the door open. He was there, the short little red-head was there fighting a monster. He reached in his pocket and took out his pocket knife. He yelled as he penetrated the monster in the eye, hitting the brain. He fell back, the monster on top of him.
I ran up to him, helping him remove the body from off of him.
"Mr. Johnson," he whispered, taking my hand in his. I could tell he hated doing that.
"Come on, Rudi, the rest are waiting." I said, taking the knife from his hand. He nodded, he was covered in blood but at least it wasn't his own.
Together we walked slowly back in the direction of the classroom, he never let go of my hand.

We met Aiden and Rudi in the hall. Rudolph was covered in blood, he looked scared. He had his hand in Aiden's but Aiden pulled away as soon as he saw Edin.
Dallen and Ashton met up with us in that same hall almost immediately after. When Ash saw Rudi he hugged him because he could see the pain in his eyes. I never did ask Rudolph what happened, he would have told me if he wanted to.
"We need to get somewhere safe, there's too many of those things here," Aiden said.
"We need to get rid of them," Rudi said quietly.
"And how do you suppose we do that?" Dallen asked.
"Aim for the head."

"We make our way to the cafeteria, into the kitchen and take the knifes. That's the plan," I said as we all stood around a desk in a senior classroom.
"Anything sharp," Rudolph corrected.
"What about the ones we see on the way there?" Ashton asked.
"Avoid them as best you can. If you need help yell for Rudolph, he has the pocket knife," I explained. Ash nodded.
"What will we do after we get them?" Dallen asked.
"Well take out all of them in here. Make this place a home. We'll take the bodies out back and burn them."
"There might be others here in the classrooms," Edin pointed out, "others that are still alive."
"We'll worry about that later. If anyone else is still alive in here, it means they're safe for now," Aiden helped lead. I nodded at the group and together we all lined up by the door. Ashton opened it slowly and quietly and we all made our way out.
We couldn't see any of them. They all had probably made their way to the front entrance.
"Ethan," Rudi whispered as we were walking.
"What?"
"What if there's a door still open somewhere, letting more of them in." I thought about that for a moment. It was probably true. And if it was, we needed to take care of it before it got worse.
We didn't have time for that right now though. We needed to get the knives. There were a few of them in the halls but luckily we didn't make enough noise to draw their attention.
We got to the cafeteria, the doors were big and no matter how slowly Aiden tried to open them they screamed like a distressed woman. Rudolph was the first to walk in, stopping suddenly as a knife was placed directly on his throat.
"Who are you?"
