Finn awoke inside a dusty bus; he could hear Daniel rambling about how he didn't want Fizz coming along on the expedition.
Fizz was drowsy but decided it would be in his best interest. He called Bubbel Immediately but never thought of how he would do it...
"Should I speak or think his name?" Fizz pondered as he lifted his head off the side of the rusty busses window.
"BUBBEL," Fizz thought very loudly...
He got no response.
Fizz sighed and took a deep breath as he prepared to shout Bubbels name at the top of his lungs but stopped as he was suddenly silenced by none other than Bubbel himself...
"Shhh," Bubbel whispered. "Don't worry. Only you can hear and see me right now."
Bubbel slowly removed his hand from Fizz's mouth... "Speak by thinking, don't even mention my name around the man with the beanie," Bubbel whispered as he pointed his hand toward the bus driver, Professor J. "Now, what would you like to talk about?"
Fizz pondered momentarily- "You give me soda powers, right?" Fizz asked in his thoughts.
Bubbel nodded. Fizz looked at his hand. "What exactly does that give me the power to do."
It seems even Bubbel had to think about it for a second before answering...
"you can move soda around effortlessly, but unlike other mazoku, you can't make it dense or solid. Instead, you can change the ph value of the soda and make it stick together like a solid material," Bubbel explained. "For example, if you made a soda sword and fought against a real swordsman, you'd be unable to block his attacks. Instead, you would have to wait for an opening to dissolve the sword or the swordsman in soda.
Fizz nodded. "So your abilities prioritize offense and lack defense."
Bubbel shook his head. "Nope, your body can change into soda in response to physical trauma, so a single slash from a sword or a bullet from a standard gun won't damage you much, but for example, a simple kick to your head or a rocket launcher will disperse your body in multiple directions in large quantities which means you'll die if you turn to soda on impact instead you should only use your soda body ability when your opponent goes for a precise strike.
Fizz tilted his head. "Is that all of your abilities"
Bubbel sighed. "Yes, but no," "If you use those powers creatively, you should be unstoppable."
Realizing he could theoretically create anything out of soda, Fizz started to form a soda gun but ran out of soda around the handle of the weapon...
"Woah, Fizz, what are you doing," Slushi said, noticing Fizz creating a soda gun using soda from his soggy hoodie...
Flustered, Fizz jumped back in his seat and dispersed the soda gun into his hoodie, wettening it.
Daniel looked at Fizz and then at where Bubbel was floating. Then he turned back around...
"Woah, he can see me, " Bubbel whispered, "That means he has 6/12 deals a ghost could have granted him."
Slushie scoffed. "Hey, sleepy head, Mr. J said we will be there in about 3-2 minutes and to be prepared."
Fizz looked ahead at the vast massive building in the middle of the desert and recognized it...
"This- Place," Fizz muttered.
Slushie made a surprised face "Woah, calm down, Fizz, you look a little aggravated."
Fizz felt a wave of tremendous anger rising, but Daniel suddenly appeared by his side before he could have a complete meltdown.
"Finn, it will all be ok," Daniel whispered calmly...
Fizz calmed down surprising quick and entered a state of drowsiness...
"Did you really put him to sleep right before the mission" Slushi growled
Daniel's face hardened. "I was planning on going alone anyways."
