My shift will be over soon and I can’t wait to get over the bed for sleep. I hope there won't be setbacks... I think, making a little tired sigh.

"Hey, Samuel... Sorry to ask you this at the last minute... Could you make one last order, please?" George asks with some hesitation.

"All right, boss! However, after that, I’ll go straight home since my shift is over." I respond, beaming at him politely. The Dreamland restaurant is owned by him and he's responsible to take the order for the takeaway.

"Later, if you want, we can go out for a drink together!" he exclaims while looking directly into my eyes with a gleam of hope.

"I'm sorry, man... I'm too exhausted tonight and I'd like to rest in my bed. My girlfriend's birthday is tomorrow as well, so..." I raise my right eyebrow bothered after hearing George's laughter.

"All right! You are aware that you can reach out to me if you change your mind!" he winks at me and, despite knowing he's playing with me, I still blush slightly. "Every time I make you embarrassed, heh!" after seeing my reaction he begins to mock me. I glance up at him, strike him in the forearm with my fist, and leave. What frustration he's causing me I think snorting quite annoyed by his behaviour.

As I start riding the bike, I realize I forgot to include the order I need to deliver. I go back inside and glance at George since he keeps laughing.

"It's a relief that there are no customers at this time, as it would have been awkward!" he says amusedly. I lynx George again and, after I get the container, I leave without looking at him.

I go back on the bike and, following the navigator, I arrive at the destination. I look at the building and notice that I am in front of the Shadow Hotel, one of the most luxurious ones. Luckily there wasn't much traffic on the road! I think with relief taking the bag and feeling that it is still warm. I go inside and, after having located the reception, I head towards that point to ask for information.

"Good evening, sir. Where can I find Mr. Delta’s?" I ask loudly enough to draw the receptionist’s attention.

"Good evening to you, too! You can find him in room 457, which is on the fourth floor" he answers me with courtesy giving me a little look out of the corner of his eye and then getting back to his job. I thank him and turn around to go to the elevator. I call it and while I wait, I send a message to my girlfriend.

I hope she enjoys my surprise I make a little smile thinking about this. I get out of my thoughts when I hear the sound of the elevator opening. I go in and press the number four button.

I leave the elevator and look for the room number. I find it after a few minutes and I knock at the door. While I wait for someone to open up, I think about how my life has changed since that event. Immediately after this thought, I hear the door open with a loud sound and I open my eyes shocked by what I see.

"What are you doing here...?" I ask with skepticism to the girl in front of me. At the beginning, she looks at me with amazement but, after, she makes a grin.

"Simple... I came to celebrate with this gorgeous dumpling!" she replies pointing at me the guy next to me who is shirtless. I immediately understand what is happening and I look at the two with disgust.

"Keep your dinner, Betthy and Rowan!" I exclaim, giving her the order. I leave the two 'lovebirds', not looking back. I come out of the hotel feeling lost and a lot of anger in my body. I take my phone, and because of my distraction, I let it fall to the ground and destroy it. From my bag, I take a box with the latest model of the Fyre that I bought this morning as a gift. I unwrap it and put my old SIM card, which I saved last time, inside my new phone, opening it.

"My girlfriend doesn’t need it anymore!" I whisper, shrugging my shoulders indifferently. "No! She’s not my girlfriend anymore... She’s just a slut!" I say to myself. At that precise moment, I hear the sound of a notification and, after reading the message, I make a revengeful grin.

"You will regret what you have done to me!" I say again to myself.
